How can anyone say Margarito would have beat that version of Oscar when he lost and got knocked out to a 37 year old Mosley lol.

        Hey Jros,

Shane DID NOT WIN THE REMATCH. He got a gift just as generous as Julio Chavez got when he fought Whitaker (though a draw). Do you remember Shanes face when they were calling out the scores. Looking all sad, then.....BOOM! His face lit up like he won the lotto. Even Foreman said that it was a robbery. As for Tito...comon dude. He landed something like 100 more punches while throwing more. Not many people give Tito more than 2 rounds going into the 9th. Even if you "GAVE" Tito 4 rounds.....simple math is a draw.

Look man i used to be a fan of Margs, but I never thought he was an elite. I wanted to see Floyd fight him, just to please the masses. Even then, Margs always has a chance due to his relentlessness, but guys like Shane, Floyd, and Oscar make easy work of him.

DLH loses to anyone with chin and 12 round stamina
circa 2006 DLH better than Tony
problem is he must last 12 rounds or KO Tony
          he couldn't do either
people say Tony ineffective at 154 because of Santos II
DLH folds soon as Tony goes heats up

Man I am sorry I can't discuss boxing, with these line of thinking. Really I can't take anybody serious would compare Shane-Oscar II to JCC-Whitaker.

Even Foreman said that? Your kidding? Foreman really? Wow I am convinced now since we know how much Foreman "hated" Oscar. What next? Howard Ledderman and Jim Lampley also thought Oscar got robbed in a close fight? Shocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A draw... Which means a close fight. Close enough that could of gone either way. Thus the draw... So why say "on the real Oscar won"? And, watch the fight again. Turn the volume off so you won't be swayed by Oscar cheerleaders. And, watch the first 2 rounds, rounds 4 and 5... And, then tell me if Tito does not have a case for more than "2 rounds" going into the 9th.

See with that comment I think you talking about the Oscar of the 90's. Because, the 2006 version that fought Mayorga... You know the part time fighter, not full time like Floyd and Shane but part time fighter. Who did not train properly, who didn't have the hunger anymore, nor the will can be compared to Floyd and Shane who are full time fighters, with the hunger, the will who train properly... Big difference between that version of Oscar to those 2 guys. And, also that Oscar was never as good as those 2 guys. So just cuz Floyd could of and Shane did it doesn't mean that part time fighter full time promoter could do it.

I dont think anyone has said hes the same. However that version would still beat Margarito IMO. Oscar beats him up pretty bad. Hes too damn slow and easy to hit to beat Oscar.

Like Castillejo? I don't think Oscar "beat him pretty bad" I mean Castillejo was too damn slow and easy to hit.

Or cuz of what he did to Tito left overs like Campas, Vargas, and Mayorga. Especially Vargas and Mayorga who got their chin crack by Tito.

Or cuz Floyd and Hopkins decided to coast and carry Oscar?

Or cuz of Oscar gift decision?

Or cuz Oscar was competitive with Shane at 154? Who did Shane beat that was any good at 154 anyways?

Or was it something else that Oscar accomplish that I am missing since moving up to 154?

Matter of fact what heavy handed, volume punching, pressure fighter with a granite chin. Did Oscar fight in the last 10 years?
