In this case the 4million projection and the huge marketing in promoting this fight

How many fights have sold 4 million. I don't know who is the ******, GBP for claiming that, or people like the TS who actually expected it. I was hoping myself for 2 million ppv buy, 1.4 million is a success, and better then any other fighter fighting today would sell.

Factor in common sense and try understanding what I had posted.. Knowing the 4million ppv projection and the huge cost of promoting evident of the promotions during the brewing of the fight.. It's easy to understand they where really of the mark of 4 million wouldn't you think so

and that is why this is also a poll to get peoples opinion about it, and so far almost half of them who voted believes in my point of view.

          Part of my post:

4m is not really realistic, but I'm sure they where targeting 2million up, therefore it is a flap for the promoters who also want to earn big money for all the effort and cost promoting it. Knowing Floyd, GBP just got chump change for there effort in promoting this fight.

          Read you understand you blockhead

The whole post is in the first page lol

Yes, so they probably expected 2 million, so how is 1.4 a flop? it's better then damn near any fight in the last few years not involving DLH. Stop hating, anything over a million ppv buys is a success & i'm sure all those involved in promoting it were happy with the results. only one complaining is you, blockhead.

Can't argue with this tool.. Cost versus returns.. if they expected more means they injected more to promote thinking it will reach bigger numbers.

But they failed miserably with there expectation so factor in the huge cost of hyping the fight = epic fail

If they knew it will only do 1.4million they would have lessened the promotional cost of the fight. They where really hyping it so much thinking it will reach 2million up for real. Anything less of 2million is a disappointment for GBP.

Nice way to avoid answering my question, let me ask again.

So if their target was 2 million, explain to me how 1.4 was a flop? Not the expected return, sure, but a flop it was not.

Let's see you do your math on the failure of Pac/Clottey that only sold 700k and had about as big a promotion as May/Mosley.

Your post is nothing but speculation.

Grown men understand that speculation is not enough to judge wether a product was successful or not.

You say Schaefer probably expected 2 mill, but you just pull that figure out of your ass. You speak of the huge cost of promotion but are unable to even guess how much they spent on promotion. Hell, you dont even know how much the fight made in total, all you know is the domestic ppv gross.

Sorry, you are reading between lines you cannot even read.
