That was for HGH.......not all PED's. Again people seem to be skewing fact to support inherently weak arguments. HGH is a relative new comer in terms of PED use in sport. The test for HGH has been recently synthesised. They weren't even sure it would work......now they have proof. Couple this with the fact there is a very small window with which the test is accurate it is indeed difficult to catch athletes using HGH.......expect it to happen more often.

Those guys you listed flunked for steroids or diuretics (post-fight i might add). The NSA does not test for HGH or EPO so they have 0% chance of catching anyone. USADA does test for HGH and EPO so they at least have a chance.

Additionally 0% = no deterrent in place.

I'd say Nevada has more to lose with a proper drug testing policy than USADA has to gain from administering the tests.

Hypothetically, if Manny and Floyd agreed to fight in Nevada, and they were tested by the USADA, and either Floyd or Manny failed a drug test, what do you think would happen? The NSAC would lose their minds. Think of all the money that would have slipped away from the state. They do not want to test like baseball and football did not want to test, and hockey still does not want to test. Baseball fell in love with home runs, and they protected the juice-heads because they were filling the seats. They were forced to make changes; They wouldn't have done it on their own.

I'm not sure why the USADA is being pinned as some ultra-corrupt organization and the NSAC is being defended as if it is some kind of puritan organization. My understanding is that to maintain non-profit status, earnings cannot be paid out to the benefit of individuals in that group. Like if they started testing boxers, they couldn't just pay themselves a bonus for a job well done. Since non-profits are generally tax-exempt from certain things, they are audited heavily.

Sure, Manny and Floyd could fight without the testing. But as fans, shouldn't we be demanding something better? There's a chance both Floyd and Manny could be abusing something, so I say we find out. Besides the risk to eachother, having a competitive advantage in a contact sport, most of these drugs are incredibly dangerous to the users. Lots of EPO type blood boosters are designed for people with anemia. And the good thing about the world anti-doping code is it gets updated frequently with the latest tests and research. You have one central program that all of the worlds anti-doping scientists pour their work into. The best idea is to tap into that, not go your own route and try to do things in isolation. Information sharing is a beautiful thing.

And how about EPO------>which the NSAC does not test for????

        - So which testing method is better the NSAC or USADA????

        - oh that's right you don't care

I say again.........you are all for OST, but ________________________<---------inserts silly excuse here.

This is essentially why promoters or sanctining bodies don't care. If they spent money promoting fights and the fight didn't happen because of a pre-fight flunked test = lost money.

why don't you answer some of the questions i am *****g forward in this thread and the other one instead of acting like a petulant child whose mother took away the rattle?

That would be too much to ask wouldn't it???

Or pehaps you can't give any answers that amount to anything other than your usual incessant prattle
