Good list, but I'd swap Salvador Sanchez with Wilfredo Gomez. Remember, Sal made Wilfredo quit in his corner, he totally dominated him. I know that Wilfredo went up in weight, but Sal was the better fighter.

I don't know why you bring Arum into this. Is not like he was promoting JCC back then. So that was just irrelevant comment.

He also beat Edwin Rosario, Jose Luis Ramirez, Rocky Lodrige, Juan Laporte, Greg Haugen, Roger Mayweather. Meldrick Taylor(yes it is still a TKO win), All good wins at the time.

And, you also underrated JCC skills. He have skills. His defense is underrated, he could roll off punches especially on the inside, offensively he was a machine, body punching one of the best of all times. Combination punching my goodness watch his fight against Ali AMAZING, all this is considered skills. Very skillful fighter.

3 time division champ, the greatest fighter to come out of Mexico, top 5 ATG at 140 IMO.

I really don't know what more you want in a fighter?

I'm surprised Jacky didn't **** himself in anger because Finito is higher than JMM.

BTW Ch@mp, as always, you get kudos from me for having the balls to make your own list and posting it.

Never said he wasnt skilled, he had very good skills, not sure where that came from, Don King promoted him, I used Arum as a name today because he does this, Arum did promote him later in his career though. Never said he wasnt great either, dont know where that came from, I simply said he isnt great than Sweet Pea IMO.

yea I don't know what is up with that statement. I consider myself a young guy and I have a top 100 list.

Very tough to make a list IMO...most ppl would have to see other lists to start thinking...unless you sit around with others and make one...

Any list can be disputed and shot down...

Thats irrelevant as long as you're willing to learn. Its easy to pick on someone else, it takes balls to show a list of your own. Bhopreign doesn't have the balls to show his own list because he knows he'll be laughed off the boards. I'd bet on it!

Exactly!! But it's not only him though. I bet over 90% of the posters on here would make a list but never even saw most of the boxers on the list fight. I'll admit, I won't make a list due to that reason of not seeing some of them old time fighters fight.

Maybe. But understanding boxing history is a learning process. Everybody references other lists to create their own. That doesn't make it a bad list.
