What makes pernells career THAT much greater than a man who could sell 130,000 tickets to see him fight?

      GTFO..

I'd put Cotto in there before Mayweather. At least Cotto's fought everyone.
      but he didnt beat everyone

Don't like the list, not going to criticize it because I haven't made my own to compare yet, but I know they're going to be largely different.

It can easily be argued that Pea only lost one fight and in that fight he didnt look bad he just had too much size against him and the fact he was past it.

It could also be argued that JC had not lost a fight until he was a bit past it and in 114 pro fights only has unavenged L's to 3 different fighters when he was without a doubt past prime against those fighters.

I don't take skills into account when rating in this way and if you do fine and I could see how based on that Pernell could be rated above him but to me its all about wins, longevity, titles won.....

his wins over walcott, charles, louis and moore are better than anything calzaghe ever did, simple as that.

I don't think you could even make a list. The only boxers you've ever seen fight are Rican and thier opponents.

You got the Sugar/ESPN list and switched a couple of names around.

If you dont take skills into account I imagine you take who they beat into account and not the numerous no names JCC beat. Name JCC's good/great wins.
