Yeah I noticed that as well. Maybe he's conserving energy? IDK. I love watching him fight but he doesn't do anything by the book. I think that's his appeal though.

if martinez handled Cintrons power he will have no problem with Cottos

Everyone keeps talking about how Cotto is too small for Martinez.. Didn't Carlos Quintana hand Williams his first lost and Carlos was way smaller than Williams. I think it will be a great fight. Maritinez is a tremendous fighter with great speed and can punch from all angles. Cotto has the speed also and is one of the best counter puncher in the sport. This fight would be a great for all true fight fans!!

But really , Cintron punches are not as good as Cottos , he trhwos more compact hooks , Straighter punches and timing is really good.


How I see it , martinez would have to eat Cottos power and pressure all night.

If martinez feels Cotto's power , and he doesnt apply the needed pressure, Cotto is as live as anybody and you know it.

No I do not. Cotto is waaay too small at 154. He looked tiny vs foreman and he is slower and has less power than sergio.

Let's also not forget that Sergio is much quicker on his feet as well.

You can bet your ass tht Cotto won't be in the ring with Sergio Martinez, Paul Williams or Sergiy Dzindzurek. Not because Cotto's scared but because Bob would never ever let it happen.

when williams was using hes jab on sergio he some what tamed him and from what iv seen of cottos jabs that could be a major factor to cotto winning..

cotto can also counter good and with body punches possibly knock him out..
