Who HONESTLY believes Cotto can beat Martinez.

To the neutral observer its clear that this fight is a total mismatch, but I wanna hear from the believers and what their rationale is.

sergio is a big time mover in the mold of yuri and fast if not faster than zab and mosley when cotto fought them ... this fight is intriguing because of cotto's superior timing and his ability to offset movers with it.

He's a mover, but not in the mold of Yuri. Their way of moving is totally different. Martinez doesn't move in patterns like Foreman does and is much faster, stronger and can punch way better.

Not only that, but he oozes machismo.

Cotto can beat Martinez. Martinez is already 35 and he will start to deteriorate soon. Marinez is overated, lets not forget Margarito beat him when he was younger.

Cintron hung in there and Cotto is by far superior in every aspect , Martinez moves a los but and dont pressure , dont have the type of pressure+ko power to get rid of Cotto so it would be close , Cotto can time that jab all day.

I honestly believe he can pull it off. With steward and some new techniques , Hell yeah , but it would have to be after P.Will. And yes I believe he dismantles P.Will just like cintron was getting ready to do before he jumped off the ring

Martinez is far superior to any mover type of fighter that Cotto has fought and to be honest i don't like Cotto's chances.

Cotto does tend to have alot of success against guys who move well though so i suppose totatally counting him out is unfair.

and lets not forget...martinez would dust margarito NOW. dude cotto would not beat martinez lol, hes like a smaller pavlik. martinez was too much for p will, and look at the advantages p will had on him. martinez has been looked past until his last 3 fights...he beats and more than likely knocks cotto out.
