Why a new deal?

Im all for that Ray, but it seems most Floyd fans don't want this fight unless Floyd renegotiates to get what THEY think is right. Do you have any problem with the "former" deal Pac has recently said he would agree to? Or do you think Floyd should now ask for more? As a fan of the sport I think someone finally giving in to the others demand is a win/win situation for all. Both fighters will make far more money than they could against anyone but each other, and the fans get what they've been clamoring for.

you are right.....100% right....BUT

It's not about what you think...or i think...or Ray thinks.....it's about how boxing works and has worked since time immemorial......the guy who brings more money asks for more money.....it's that simple and has been for a very long time..........

So it's obvious Floyd will ask for more........the real question is why do Pac fans jump up and down about this reality like it's some kind of criminal act?????? Why defend his stubborn greed in not conceding where he should concede........?????

1) No......but neither can Pac.....so what is you point? Pac prob can't make $40 mil with someone else, so by your logic he should concede ground.....

2) The bigger draw always gets more money. Floyd is proven beyond doubt 4 out of 4 times he is the bigger draw.



Personally from a fan POV i would like him to offer 50% to get it done because i want the fight to happen and i put the sport first.....however if i was in his shoes i would not offer it....

Manny fans don't put the sport first....they condone PED use, don't support OST and continue with this ridiculous idea that Manny still deserves an equal share of the pie.....???

From a business perspective I can tell you exactly why Manny deserves 50%. Answer: because Floyd can't make as much money against ANY other fighter even if he's taking 80% of the pie. Neither of them can, so its a fair compromise to not only get richer, but to give the fans what they want.
