    Why a new deal?

Pac caved first and gave in to Floyds demands for a 14 day cutoff on OST. why than would Floyd want to hold this fight up with newer more stringent demands if he really wants to fight? I see all kinds of excuses from his fans but one thing that ABSOLUTELY has not changed is that no other fight will bring Floyd anywhere near the amount of money he makes with Pac EVEN with the old demands. So either he's greedy and unreasonable or he flat out doesn't want the fight.

Everybody is jumping to premature conclusions.

Floyd hasn't even commented on Pacquiao's acceptance of the 14 day cut off. He hasn't sat at the negotiation table yet. Give it some time.

And it was to my knowledge that the 14 day OST cut off was on the table a few months ago.....Why did pacquiao accept the offer now and not 3 months ago??? Pacquiao's camp are the ones to blame for turning this **** into a mess.

Whats the difference? The fight can be made, so why dwell in the past or make more demands? Floyd has gotten what he wanted so it should be game on.

Jab I have a better question bro.

Why not just agree to this the first time? For all of Teams Pacs excuses, etc. All of sudden NOW they are fine with this after I had to read and post in hundreds of threads on the Pac-Floyd fiasco.

Whats the difference now if the fight can get made? The only thing any fan of the sport should be concerned with is now that Floyd has gotten what he wanted, we can get what we want...the fight. I mean am I wrong here? Isn't that what boxing fans really want?

              I don't know Jab,

Some people don't want the fight to happen. They just want Floyd to win negotiations even though they have no stake in it.

This is how it truly appears from most fans of Floyd. Instead of looking at this negatively and saying Pac had his chance, everybody should just be saying thank you, its about freakin time!

Floyd hasn't made any recent statements on Pac accepting the 14 days, but he did mention in I think April that if his numbers were better the offer is off the table.

I think its a greed and ego thing on both parts. I see both sides, one more than the other because I never bought the excuses from team Pac. But I still see both sides looking to get the upper hand in the neg.

Its a fact that Floyd did offer it in Feb and Pac declined
Its a fact that Pac has just now accepted the 14 days
But its not yet a fact that Floyd won't accept it, so let's just see.

There is absolutely no reason and no excuse for Floyd not making the fight. Both won their fights and their standing remains the same.
