The only thing bleak for me is Floyd announced "no cut-off next time around" was said thru the media and not on the negotiation table.

You should know since you ride it with me.

LOL @ you. You don't even realize how ****** your thread is. I commend Eaner for trying to talk reasonably to you. He'll soon learn though.

I want to ask a question from a diffrent angle.

Why can't Pac agree to testing up until the fight and take 40% of the Purse????

after all, he just wants to fight right???

My point is, nothing has changed if Floyd wants this fight. He can't make more money with anyone else and Pac has given into his last demand. As a boxing fan EVERYBODY should be applauding and saying make the fight than.
How could you say nothing has changed, when Mayweather went through with OSDT?

So then Manny wants 24 days and Floyd 14. Nothing has changed, using this logic.

Pac wants the fight now the ball is in Floyd court. January has nothing to do with now. Pac is willing to compromise on unofficial testing to the standards Floyd had previously dictated. If Floyd is unwilling to work with that compromise I can see it no other way than he really doesn't want the fight. If it was good then it should be good now. Nothing has changed accept Pacs willingness to give floyd some of what he wants.
                  so how about Feb?

"Mayweather’s last offer on a fight negotiated to a 50-50 split -- with $25 million each, plus pay-per-view percentages -- was a 14-day window before the fight with no blood testing.

“I gave him a chance, up to 14 days out. But my new terms are all the way up to the fight. They can come get us whenever, all the way up to the fight, random drug test. That’s what it is,” Mayweather said."

so in essence when Floyd says "But my new terms"

shouldn't THAT be the starting point of the negotiation and everything Manny said recently be a moot point?

I mean why is Manny's word more weighted than Floyd's?

                    This is a dumb explanation.

The 14-day cut-off was suppose to be a compromise so that Floyd gets to be still assured of a drug-free fight that he said he wants.

When did Floyd say the compromise was so that he would still be assured? Is that your own view or something you read?
