Will pacquiao 7 weight division championship belt ever be broke?

This line of thinking is what is wrong with the whole multiple titles thing. You are discussing taking the easiest most beatable titlists instead of who is the best fighter at the division. That is why Henry Armstrong's feats IMO are greater than Pac's. He held three championships (when there were only eight) simultaneously from 126-147. He got screwed while going for the MW championship (while only weighing 142!)
I have no doubt in my mind that if he were around today with a WBA,WBC,WBO,IBF and IBO belt available in each division he would win one at 122,126,130,135,140,147,154 and 160.
What if in a few years, divisions are restructured so that each one is only 4 pounds whereby creating 3 new divisions between 130 and 162? Sound far-fetched? (More champions mean more sanctioning fees for the governing bodies) Imagine what 17 divisions with 5 titlists would have sounded like to people in the 1950's.Now imagine some guy comes along and wins 9 titles. How would these titles compare to Pac's total?
Pac accomplishments are impressive, but let's get some perspective. Pac has won titles that did not exist in divisions that did not exist when some of the other greats were active.Comment

if pacquiao gets 8th he will fight it the easy way not getting it from the best like floyd does....nothing you can say...floyd won all his belts by fighting the best in the division ( maybe only exception is dlh but fighting him at 154 at that point was a risky move). pac would get it from jcc or cotto who he already beat not a true 154 contender like williams or sergioComment

the record is interesting but its more about the quality of the belt you are getting and the person who held it. im sure in the future there are a few guys who could matchmake their way to belts, especially if you start at the lower weights. 112/115/118/122/126/130/135 is VERY possible.
Grabbing a strap at a time. Its like...David Diaz and Hatton are the only two fights pac had at 135/140, thus it sort of made it easier because its not like you have to clean out a division or even fight the best fighter to grab a belt.Comment

In an era of of so many title weights and 4 recognized alphabet straps that record would be broken. Pac is in the era that he doesn't fight the #1 contender for the belt or defends in for that matter. Not only that he forced a catchweight for the WW belt and would ask a catchweight for a SWW belt. Great accomplishment especially in his lighter weight days but at higher weights there have been compromises that only benefited Pac.In the history of boxing only pacquiao become the 7 weight division champion, plenty of people here in this forum said that belts are so easy to collect, since it was so easy to collect is there any chance that someone in 10-100 years can broke pac's accomplishments or i just say pac's 7 weight division champion since pac's accomplishments is impossible to broke.
7 weight division champion
4 lineal champion
3x fighter of the year
FIGHTER OF THE DECADE
Sorry *****s i need to tell the truth....

Pac was already too small in 147lbs going up in 154lbs for his 8th belt division is very possible but will make him very small compared to his opponents i just can't imagine pac fighting at 160lbs for his 9th belt divisions, i don't think he could even make 155lbs in the weigh in without putting rocks in his pockets......why?
This is a scenerio that I see happening, thus it is a possibility.
Pac rematches Cotto at 154 for the 154 title, and wins.
Mayweather beats Sergio at 160 and wins that 160 title.
Pac fights Mayweather for his 160 title and wins it.
It sounds like a lot but it is possible.Comment

LOL. more like fighting the weakest of the division...... I agree with you that floyd fought the best in 130 and 135 but 140-154lbs? LOL. All of the people, media and even you knows that floyd only fight for easiest and most money fights......if pacquiao gets 8th he will fight it the easy way not getting it from the best like floyd does....nothing you can say...floyd won all his belts by fighting the best in the division ( maybe only exception is dlh but fighting him at 154 at that point was a risky move). pac would get it from jcc or cotto who he already beat not a true 154 contender like williams or sergioComment
