    head-to-head IMO:

    2000- Floyd
    2001- Floyd
    2002- Floyd
    2003- Pac
2004- Pac (JMM draw is better than a Corley UD)
    2005- Floyd
2006- Pac (Morales(KO) x2 and Larios(UD) where better than UDs over Judah and Baldo)
    2007- Floyd
    2008- Pac
    2009-Pac

It's 5-5 against great opposition. BTW, for the decade their records were:
    Pac: 23 wins (20KO)-1-2
    opposition: 987-87-19

    FMJ: 18 wins (8KO)-0-0
    opposition: 672-71-19

    +++++++++++++

For a historical perspective Ring Magazine's Fighters of the Year:

    2000 – Felix Trinidad
    2001 – Bernard Hopkins
    2002 – Vernon Forrest
    2003 – James Toney
    2004 – Glen Johnson
    2005 – Ricky Hatton
    2006 – Manny Pacquiao
    2007 – Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    2008 – Manny Pacquiao
    2009 – Manny Pacquiao

Floyd would have won it if he didn't take the last 2-3 years off Burner

Pac are giving some years to Pac for beating Morales x2 basically taking into account his name only and not what kind of fighter he was at that stage of his career. The third fight was also totally not needed..

Same with Barrera.. he totally dominated the **** out of Barrera when Barrera was pretty much near his peak. I don't see why he would get that much credit for a guy he beat allready convicingly and who is now older.

I'd fuck them up in real life, they can't handle my reach

        Peace
I think it is due to that being the 3rd thread on the same topic. I broke no rules and there was no other reason for the delete. Don't worry bro...another time, another day. We will battle it out eventually...lol..peace and be easy bro.

...in an era full of worthless titles. Stop it.

For example Manny has achieved a lot by going up in weight and capturing so many belts.

Then he has also faced some good names also.

It's not broken down year by year and tallied up.

The fact that Floyd retired didn't help. I already said if he faced some big names at welter instead of retire, he would have got it.
Pretty sure thats what BWAA does. These guys like to break it down year by year because its favorable to Floyd. Fact of the matter is though, what Pac has done in this decade is > what Floyd did. Retiring for 2 years and cherry picking +2-4 more years doesn't net a FOTD.

Then again Floyd is the king of "could have's"

Man I don't know. I didn't break no rules and there was no reason for it to be deleted. I will make it another day because I really wanted to debate that since no one ever touches on it.

But Ima fall back like you guys said. I'll let Floyd fans such as burner have his little fun....peace

                  *Raises hand*
Chop Chop did give Floyd a hard time in some rounds. That was more credit to Chop Chop for disproving the critics wrong. But everybody who followed the fight since its announcement knew that the fight was nothing more than a tune-up for Floyd. Floyd was suppose to run over Chop Chop but it didn't totally happened. The fight turned out to be differently but that is boxing, unexpected do happen.

I might've jumped the gun and assumed you were one of the many who said that, but you're right.

It's really sad but the people who vote for FOTD in my opinion let themselves be influenced by the will of the popular vote. Instead of going by statistics and who was on top longer for the decade. This just cheapens the award just like wining a title doesn't mean the same anymore. Nothing matters except who ppv buys anymore. Too many belts and too much politics.
