    Griffin
    Hill
    Grant
    Harding

    Woods
    Ruiz
    Tarver

That is a pretty long list of opponents he outclassed and beaten convincingly I believe he stole the Tarver fight by 2 or 3 rounds. So he dominated his opponents thorougly. Majority of top fighters only have about 6 noteworthy fights. Well Roy has had over 10 and outclassed them all. Ohh how can we forget he went to heavyweight and defeated the unbeatable Ruiz who most heavyweights today cannot beat.

Roy is great and deserves to be placed in the top 10-15 of greatest, but it isnt his fault his division was lacking. He fought the best the division had to offer. Also it isnt like 168 or cruiser had anything spectacular for Roy either. So rightfully so Roy is one of the greatest for his achievements and his physicaly abilities.

There are always the four people say he dodged: Eubank, Benn, Collins, and DM. Cal***gie doesn't count. Eubank and Benn can be explained, but Collins really can't. Some people disagree with the Benn and Eubank explanations, but they can suck a fat one.

Thanks Jinx, thats what I wanted to hear. I am tired of people ripping down Roy Jones, hell I would pick him to beat Hopkins if they fight in the future. Bernard will school Taylor in my opinion.

I dont even look at Roy ducking DM, Roy wouldnt go overseas and stressed that and DM was offered HUGE money to come to the states to fight Roy and he turned it down. So if anyone is going to call the ducking it goes both ways.

Roy didnt need Eubank or Benn to be solidified as a top guy, Roy spent majority of his career at 175 and not once have I seen an effort by either fighter to meet Roy at his weight. Eubanks was great I love him to death he was awesome but once again a prime example of a Euro boxer.

About 6 months ago I hated Roy but after watching a lot of his fights and looking at the fighters today I have begun to appreciate him more. He is the only fighter above 160 who I enjoy watching now.

Also you ask me who my top 3 favorite fighters goes like this:

            Mayweather
            Spinks
            Jones

            Yes in that order.

Well, in regards to Eubank, he could have fought Roy when he was coming up. He didn't give Roy the shot, so he didn't get one when he was on his way out. It makes sense. I would have done the same thing.

Benn was shot by 96, and on his way out in 95. Maybe if he had beaten Malinga we would have seen that fight go down. I haven't heard of many trying to get to him before he got the IBF belt.

Finally, I agree about DM. That was on both sides, and I don't see where the bitching comes in. It's nuthuggers on both sides of the cards with that one, in my opinion. Ducking happened on both sides, if you want to call it that, I call it negotiation complications with that particular match, but anyone who says Roy ducked him is a fool. DM was wrongfully stripped, but Roy held belts before then, anyhow.

Definatly top 15-ish all time p4p, and without a doubt the best fighter of his generation.

At his best think he'd trouble any fighter in history below 190.

The reasons Roy went down at age 35:

A.) he had to come down in weight
B.) didn't train as hard because he lost his hunger
                    C.) he got older

I totally agree on the Eubank/DM and that is why I dont really even look into it much. However, with the Benn situation it wouldnt have mattered. Roy would have most likely beat him and sent him into retirement yet Roy would still get discredited because he wasnt in his prime.

Roy fought the best the division had to offer and while ducking and dodging may have been a factor it went both sides and really amounts to nothing because by the time Roy would have had the chance they would have been heavily corroded of their skills anyways.
