Nah, no catchweights. Kats has fought as high as 144 in the past, so he should be fine doing this at 140.

Khan has 15 fights at LWW and Kats has 12. No weight issue here. Outright size, on the other hand...

A real brit???There's no such thing. Most of the Britain is full of Mongrels. Cross breeds from the Irish, Italian, Scandinavians etc. I'm not saying that it's bad, it's just a fact. Look at their soccer team. Rooney...a real brit? I don't think so. Lampard??? Only Gerrar, he's ugly enough. lol

I had a conversation with an Australian recently about Poms etc. I said Australians were more British than the British due to there being more racial diversity in the UK now than in the convict export days. I told him Aussies were in fact more true Poms than the British. The logic stumped him and messed his head up and he could not argue with it.

I'm not waiting on anyone to beat Amir. It's already been done. The payout was 14-1 on that fight, So let's just say I don't feel bad about losing 50 bucks on Pauli or Katsidis when Khan is the most fragile fighter in the sport.

Khan is all hype. I thought Pauli could test him but I was wrong. Pauli looked like **** and basically fought the worst fight ever. I move on.

Khan has never done anything to justify predictions of an easy win over Katsidis.

People are taking the Pauli fight and determining that Amir Khan can control distance against anybody. And do it easily. People are saying his jab is the best in the sport. OK, maybe someday, but not yet.

He isn't Wladimir Klitschko. And Katsidis is no heavyweight stumblebum.

Khan can't really box all night long and keep the distance every second of every round. I don't think he sits down on punches enough to get Katsidis out early, and the longer the fight goes on the longer the chance of Katsidis hurting Khan.

It's not some irrational hatred for Khan that makes me think he will lose. I simply think he is a fatally flawed fighter who can go bust at any moment.

I believe the fact that he is so highly skilled is the only reason he can even be remotely competitive with his lack of punch resistance.

The beginning of the Roach era was kind of a year zero, though, a fresh start. What preceded it was an amateurish mess, and I said as much while it was happening. The Khan of then can't really be compared to the Khan of now, not if you've been following his progression closely.

LMAO, admit that you can't wait to see this new Khan laid out.

I wouldn't say he had, although he could win and it could appear easy if certain of the variables fall in his favor on the night. I think he's the one out of the two who could potentially make it look easy.

If you were bothered to scan my posts on the subject of Khan, or if I were bothered to group them up here, you'd see that I'm not expecting Khan to go too far myself.

All hype? Well, I don't think we've seen him stiffly tested yet when you consider the advantages he has, his combination of some nice technical skills and nice attributes for the weight class. So hype is a big part of the Khan thing right now, yeah.

I personally don't think Khan is as "highly skilled" as some do. He's skilled and has great attributes for the weight classes he's competed in. Guys like Bradley and Alexander are more deeply skilled and are better athletes, possess better footwork and are more athletically versatile, certainly for this sport. I certainly don't hold with the idea that he'd be unbeatable 'if he had a chin' - he can be outboxed, by more natural boxers.

FWIW, Paulie isn't the same Paulie he was 5 years ago and all anyone who was supporting him could do was hope that he gave Khan a reasonable test or somehow rolled back the years and had the night of his life. I think he posed a small few questions of Khan, and Khan answered them. But there's plenty more to answer still.

Anyone heard the term "tune up"?

Malignaggi was the tune-up. This is more like a stay-busy fight.

Will it would be a tune up in the sense that it would prepare khan wore maidanas pressure attack.
