This is the wrong question. Khan was a lightweight himself a year ago and five pounds between then and now equates to four fifths of **** all. Should he deserve credit for fighting a tough pressure fighter is the question, and the answer is yes. Should Kats get credit for fighting a super fast albeit fragile boxing prodigy? The answer is yes. It's a great fight.Comment

No question. IMO this will be Khan's FIRST competitive fight . One where it is not a forgone conclusion that Khan would be the winner. Most of Khan's fights if not all have been canned and he deserves contempt for that but this fight does not fall into that category. If he ever gets round to taking on the likes of Ortiz,Maidana,Alexander or Bradley he will need fights like this otherwise he will be slaughtered. The likes of Salita ,Kotelnik and Malignaggi won't prepare him for taking on the best guys.Comment

Dam right he should Katsidis is a beast, and f**ked up mitchell with easy.. Khan has has not long been a jww himself, and katsidis always looks a very stocky lww to me he could easily move up a weight and be fine..Comment

From Boxrec
Katsidis height 5′ 7″ / 170cm reach 66″ / 168cm
Khan height 5′ 10″ / 178cm reach 71″ / 180cm
They have both fought at LWW although Katsidis is a lightweight but there is no question Khan has the height and reach advantage.Comment
