Meanwhile, Kats' hooks are very tight and use a lot of shoulder rotation as he turns the punches in - a great example is the one which caught Mitchell that final time and sent him stumbling into the arms of the ref, or any of the hooks he landed on Earl.

Kats packs some nasty, nasty hooks. He just has to be able to get in close enough to land them, which is the hardest task he'll face.
Why does katsidis have this warrior mentality? was he bought up in a tough area when he was younger?

Not all of them ,he was knocked down by a jab, and his legs completely crumbled. They didn't even wait to do the chicken dance.

True! I'm almost inclined to start believing those who are saying Kats is potentially more dangerous than Maidana - at least on the basis of the latter loading up his shots in a more obvious and crude style. Who knows. They're both challenging acid tests for Khan.

From the sounds of it (interviews both new and old), he's always been happy with his family and speaks highly of them all. I think it's the Greek thing - what with their bloody and violent history.

Not only that, but his eyes were all crossed up like Trinidad's (i.e. the Hopkins and Jones KDs) when his butt hit the canvas. :laff:

Yet people never say Pacquiao has a glass chin now, despite having suffered 4 legit KDs in his career. Maybe Khan can go the same way.

I hate this fight for Katsidis. I accept that he has a puncher's chance, but the physical advantages of Khan are a lot to overcome. I would rather have seen Katsidis wait and fight for the Ring belt at 135.

Me too, but hopefully he'll still get that shot after the Diaz-Marquez fight is over with. Whether the latter wins or not, I expect him to go up to 140 anyway, with Diaz staying at 135 - and hopefully getting stuck into a rematch with Kats before the end of the year.

All the while if Khan wins this fight, I don't think it should default Kats' standing at 135 back down to zero. He's done enough at the weight to still warrant a big fight after Khan has finished with this tune-up business (i.e. Marquez still being considered "the man" despite losing to Mayweather 2 weight classes up).

The thing is though, khan's head dosent look like it is strong enough to take punches, it seems very fragile to me. His head reminds me of a pinhead.

This is judging solely based on the appearance of his head.

Katsidis is a BUM, he's a catcher if there ever was one and
his adviser might get locked up for getting this kid murdered.
Khan is in a different class completely...

If Kats loses to Khan, there's no way in hell Marquez will take the fight.

haha, what conclusion did i 'jump' that has to do with 'maidana is injured' comeback? I just want to see khan with maidana so khan. If madiana is injured, it still doesn't stop me from wanting to see that fight. unless it's a permanent injury, which is not.

a true champion doesn't need a ****in tune up!

Even ATG's had tune up fights. I dont see your point.

madiana is injured so he cant fight in july.
