if khan takes on katsidis and maidana and beats them both back to back i'll definately give him more credit as they can both throw heavy shots and if he can duck those on both fights back-2-back he's as ready as ever to take on alexander and bradley and be in good shape too

If khan fights kastdis it would be a great experience for amir khan. I see this going in mair khans favour simply because he has the reach and speed advantage to keep out kastdis fighting him in the inside. When michael tries to come in amir will jab his head off. Expect a late TKO possibly round 9

Kats has regularly fought at 140 in the past, but he ain't winning this. Khan has too much range, speed and power for Kats to handle - it's not about how good his chin is; he could very well get stopped just by accumulation.

I'll be sad to see this fight get signed, but of course I'll go and see it wherever in the UK it takes place. After all, I've seen both guys live so I might as well make another pilgrimage.

          War Kats... :sad1:

Well if this is a tune up fight for amir then it should b good khan has all the advantages in he's favor height reach had good power insaine speed and combinations and a great jab..where katsidis is strong very good puncher and is game for anyday cuz he's in shape..but alot of disadvantages for katsidis cuz he's reach is very short he does not jab he cuts & bruises very easy but hey that's the way he fights the dude fights like a superhero but he does have a puncher chance cuz amir still has to face a puncher one way or the other probebly maidana so very interesting fight if this happens will b very exciting cuz amir boxes but does not run away and katsidis trying to bring the pressure makes for a fans classic boxer v puncher match up...I'll stick wit skill and go wit amir via cuts late stopage KO..

And right there is another thing I'm worried about - Khan, with his long jab and lightning speed, is guaranteed to cut Kats up like a piece of meat. After the only a few rounds he'll look like Israel Vazquez.

I get a kick out of people saying "He has a puncher's chance" when someone is fighting Amir Khan.

It's the ultimate "no **** Sherlock" statement in the boxing world today.

Khan hasn't fought anyone with anyone near the intangible qualities that Katsidis' brings to the ring. His toughness and determination is something that Khan has never experienced and Kats experience in toughing out big fights is probably going to serve him well.

If Katsidis didn't cut so easily I would favor him in this one as I think he could break Khan down with relentless aggression and stop him.

That being said I imagine that Katsidis will be bleeding my the halfway point of the 2nd round and if this fight is in England they will stop the fight for the same kind of cuts he has fought on with so many times before.

Unless he lands that "puncher's chance" shot early and rocks him like Mitchell, leaving the ref no choice but to jump in for another shocking UK result. :laff2:

Man, that would be sweet... More mouths falling silent around me. I wonder if the Pakistani boxing fans are more tolerant of guys waving Aussie flags?

Yes and u every fighter knows this and is gona target those eyes and amir a very accurate puncher..if u watched when he fought paulie he landed 40% of he's shots that's really accurate and paulie is hard to hit is a frikin boxer and he still connected all those shots everytime he jabed he landed flush on paulie and kats is right there to b hit cuz he does not move he's head at all...but the real question if this fight happens is that wheher or not kats will get to amir that's the real question???????? Hehehhee damn so many??????? What the F**** am the ridler or somthing hehehehe well exciting fight never the less

Ah, but you're thinking of Hatton. Kats does move his head now. His constant head and upper body movement are the keys for him getting inside his man, since he always seems to neglect his jab.

If he can charge at Khan all night with his earmuffs on and pummel him to the head with those vicious hooks, then he's got this handily. He'll need some kind of jab, though - Khan will look to stay at a very safe distance.
