A past it Pernell made Oscar look silly. Gimme a break here.
Young Oscar De La Hoya would destroy any version of Floyd...

Cause he wanted to look flashy.
Past it Pernell??? Dude had just as many fights as Mayweather has now and was P4P #1. So if someone beats Pac and Mayweather, they shouldn't get any credit like Oscar?? Double standard much??Comment

The reason why a Young Oscar wasn't impressive in beating Whitaker or Quartey is because he took more risks and was less defensive.
Young Oscar loses to Floyd because he took more risks, which would mean more open to accurate counter shots.Comment

This is also my take on it. Floyd AND Oscar are both underrated for different reasons but Floyd is p4p, prime for prime, just a better fighter all around.Nope the De La Hoya we've seen in the meeting with Floyd wasn't that far past his prime and Floyd didn't use his legs in this fight cause he didn't have to. Also the fight was not a split decision it was not even close i scored it 116 112 maybe even 117 111 in favour of Floyd.
The only time De La Hoya could land some good punches in the final round when Floyd opened up.
Floyd would beat De La Hoya any time by relatively wide margin.Comment
