Jeff fights similar to Floyd just with less power. That video is the blueprint on how to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. Notice that Jeff tried using movement but Oscar cus the ring off and got the KO. I strongly believe that 22 to 26 year old Oscar would have beat any version of Floyd Mayweather Jr. The problem is that nobody today has what oscar had back then...

A young Oscar De La Hoya could barely destroy a slightly faded Oba Carr. Let's keep things in perspective here.

What about the jab? Floyd times anyone who throws the jab. JUST like he did Oscar.

You just Oscar has the best jab ever because "he doubled and put a hook behind it" ?

              The ****?

Then you act like Paul Williams a guy who comes to fight, doesnt take a backwards step, will fight anybody and gives his all is a guy a boxing fan shouldnt have as a favorite fighter.

Yeah, he one punched him in the 11th I believe but looked terrible throughout the fight. The scorecards were pretty bad too and I think Carr lost two points for low blows. But Carr was outboxing Oscar up until that 11th. And it wasn't even the best version of Carr either. The bottom line is that Oscar always struggled with boxers and would have had serious, serious problems against Mayweather.

Oscar can beat Mayweather at WW. Destroy, hell no. Beat, possible.

Don't get your panties wet cause he beat a 38 year old Shane Mosley.
