The only time De La Hoya could land some good punches in the final round when Floyd opened up.

Floyd would beat De La Hoya any time by relatively wide margin.
...................then youre gonna tell us shane wasnt past his prime too............................lol

But the problem with Oscar when he was in his Physical prime was that he was very one-handed. I don't think he could beat any version of Floyd to be honest.

Just because Jeff's last name is Mayweather, don't make him Floyd. Floyd Mayweather Jr is far superior to ANY member of his family.

I think Oscar is underated but to be honest he had problems with sweet p when lets be honest sweet was past his best days..

Would have been a good fight though.. but the fight they had togather in 2007 wasn't that bad either even though oscar quit throwing his jab

Listen, people, get this through your heads. Floyd is a much smaller fighter than Oscar. Oscar was at his prime at welterweight. Floyd, as talented as he is, is not.

You people say that "Oscar lost to virtually every elite fighter he faced". That's really dishonest. The two fights with Mosley - a prime Mosley, who would certainly have knocked Floyd out in that famous "second round" - were very close. He was robbed against Trinidad. He beat and stopped a lot of good fighters, who were then derided for being bums after he'd destroyed them. (By the way, does that last sentence seem familiar?)

Smh... Lmao too. I didn't say they have the same skills **** butkis. What I mean is Jeff is very similar to floyd in that fight. But 22 year old oscar could take anything present past or any floyd can land. And oscar didn't let people run around back then. In that fight oscar is similar to how he was in the 07 fight with Floyd but relentless. He didn't let up back in those days before he made all that money. MONEY MADE OSCAR LAZY as it does many of your favorite athletes and entertainers. Yes I was reaching on the "DESTROY" part, but he would have one on points because he bullied, fought, lengthy and never let up. Everyone knows that young oscar had the BEST jab ever. Google it if you don't believe me. Floyd has been my Fav since I first loss money betting against him in that corrales fight. But he's not invincible. The problem is that fighters have forgotten about the jab... Period.

                The hell man.

What about the jab? Floyd times anyone who throws the jab. JUST like he did Oscar.

Your right.. he did lost the first fight with Shane but the rematch, I still to this day believe that he won that..what's crazier is the man beat out a juiced moselly and vargas.. Oscar had some quality wins against Ruelas and quartay

Prime Oscar vs Prime Floyd would be a great fight but I don't think De La Hoya would win
