Dawson is my favourite American fighter. Too underrated for his own good. It would be nice to see him clean the division (Pascal and Cloud) before a possible move to 168 though. Dawson/Bute would be huge, but i'm not sure how healthy Chad would be at that weight. Lucian is such a natural SMW, and the most versatile man there, if Chad wants to make any sort of impact out of LHW, then Bute would be the most viable option.

I think he'd do okay at Cruiser too, if he can aim for a Cunningham fight. The man needs to get his props.

      He should fight Karo Murad.

For someone so talented he is so damn inactive. He's going to fight two times this year. He's not a big enough name to fight only two times in a year. Hes not going to build a fan base like this.

I can't tell if your being seroius. If you aren't you a sick man for wanting to pay to see Jeff Lacy get killed on tv.

I hope Dawson doesn't. He's been at 175 too long and dropping weight classes ends with bad results 9 out of 10 times.

Sounds to me like Chad regrets not fighting Kessler at 172 before the supersix started.

Chad should stay at 175 and fight those 168 dudes at a catch weight....or try CW and then HW.....by that time the K2 bros would be done dominating the division because of age and then its open season there....Chad is still in his late 20's I think....the dude has time on his side whatever route he chooses!!....he just needs to be more active imo....a tomatoe can here and there keeps the rust away.

This is a bad move for Dawson. He needs to dominate light heavy and hopefully influence a Bute or a Pavlik to fight him later this year. Cloud is fighting Johnson a week before Dawson fights Pascal. If Cloud wins, he
s a solid undefeated opponent. Dawson can get plenty of solid names until the Super Six is over, and hopefully the winner will be willing to go to light heavy to fight him. At this point, Ward is the favorite, and we won an Olympic gold medal at 178. Don't see why he'd have a problem fighting Dawson at the 175 limit.

This would be crazy, he'd be risking a lot to move down. It'd be exciting to see him at SMW though.

Dawson needs to pick a direction and stick with it. I'm a big fan of his, which is why it frustrates me he's not fighting more and doing more in the sport. He should've found a fight around March to stay active. He's fighting at the Antonio Tarver pace nowadays.
