dawson v.s bute would be a war make it happen after dawson fights pascal its the best possible fight at this timeComment

I agree. I expect Cloud to struggle badly with Johnson, even at this point.Yes, his best and only notable wins are against past prime Gonzales who was stopped but didn't come close to leaving his feet, and a competitive UD against past prime Clinton Woods.
This is nothing to indicate he could trouble Dawson and I am not sure he will get past Johnson in August but we will see.Comment

so true......but even weight drained he will whip most if not all at 68.......watch them duck him if he makes the move.Comment

I agree and I honestly don't know what he has that makes people think he'll beat Johnson. I mean the only thing I can think of is that Johnson comes in his age and Cloud looks better than he really is. The Johnson that fought Dawson, even in the rematch, beats Cloud easily. When I say overhyped I meant on NSB. People are acting like Cloud will munch through Chad. Cloud has shown me absolutely nothing to suggest he can cause Dawson any kinds of problems at all.
Dawson gets about 10% of the credit he deserves on here. Incredibly skilled fighter.Comment

Thing is when a fighter is weight drained they are not themselves. One kryptonite for any fighter is being weightdrained. Dawson or no fighter can really fight through that.Comment
-
So if Bute does beat Dawson will he get credit or just excuses like weight-drained Dawson? I mean I'm expecting Dawson to move down in weight intelligently and not right off the bat take on someone like Bute but more of tune ups at 168 so he can get adjusted at that weight.
Hopefully Dawson shows that he can settle down at 168 and make it healthy without and negative affects. Don't want any excuses when the two meet up.Comment

elite........prob only one question mark??? chin....but with his skill set i have trouble seeing anyone getting to it consistentlyComment

Its alot of weight to cut if on FN he is coming in over 190, I would rather him try his hand at CW if he can't make any $$$ at 175.
Still whats at CW really Cunningham and Huck, its the same position really, Chad is Froched if someone doesn't move up.Comment

i agree 100% i just dont see anyone beating chad. there is a lot of good fights at 168 though. and chad would add spark to a star studded division(EDIT: THE 9TH LAYER)^ Not really a tune up but school Bute. Chad beats them all IMO. A great way to build his legacy. Take care of Pascal, Cloud, and all of the super 6 and then we'll have a freakin elite fighter out of him.
Chad Dawson is the most skillful fighter IMO from 154+. If he was heavyweight size he's school the klitschko's. And I think he's better then all the rest too. Floyd Mayweather is the only guy around that weight that is better skill wise IMO. Chad is beautifully skilled in the ring. Although not very exciting minus the first Johnson fight which I thought he barely won. Glenn's a gamer though, no shame in that.Comment
