No Offence, but I'll bet you can't go 6 rounds with anybody, the most 8. If you step into a ring you will be surprised. I thought I could go around 20 too when I started because of everything else I do. When I finaly got around to sparring I was able to do 8(in sets of 4), but this was 3months after I started. Also if you could do half the things in a row you said, i know you were exaggerating, then running a marathon shoudn't be to hard. For marathon running if you get past your 18th mile you can finish the race. That's why the most miles a marathon runner does in training is 18mi.(I have ran 1 and the most I did in training was 16miles). For everyone, you can't really judge how hard one sport is to another unless you have done all of them. So for me I don't go cycling so I can't say it's not harder then boxing, but I have done soccer, american football, long distance running, basketball, boxing, and lacrosse, and boxing has been the hardest by far. -
Ok, what if I lasted 5-6 rounds (that's half of a twelve rounder) of boxing then boxing then is not that tough I suppose? Because I myself couldn't cover half (250km)or even 1/4 (125km) of the 500+km race in a bicycle...rain or shine or spill.Originally posted by ShaolinLaxNo Offence, but I'll bet you can't go 6 rounds with anybody, the most 8. By the way, last week i rode up the Tourmalet in the Pyranees which is 22km, it took 1 hr 30 mins.Yep, You two are spot on... Tour De France is second to nothing when it comes to fitness.Originally posted by Bahamut ZeroBoxing takes 2nd spot to me. The 1st should be cycling ala Le Tour De France where those thin wire bikers conquer the rolling hills...then up and down a sky high mountain for 3-5 hours non-stop! I could only imagine the torture they put on their legs. Just ask Lance Armstrong. And 3rd, Marathon..
I've been over to France and followed the Tour De France around 7 times now... And you never get the real aspect of what these guys are doing unless you stand at the summit of Col de Galibiar or at the foot of Alp duez...
You see the speed these guys go up these amazingly steep climbs and have to pinch yourself that they've already done 4hrs and 120 miles through the Alps at this point.
Simply breath taking.Comment

Just do it and then tell me what is harder...
I'll have to agree I've seen people actually lose all control of their body functions while running marathons such as ****ting them selves and pissing themselves.Rarely will you ever see a boxer **** himself in the ring.Comment

Without A Doubt Its Gotta Be Mma(ufc, pridefc) Or Boxing. These Are Grueling Contact Sports, Any Other Sport As Hard Competitive As It Might Be Doesnt Have To Worry About Getting ****ed Up, In Mma, Or Boxing You Do And You Gotta Dish Out Your Own On Your Opponent.Comment
