the triathlon is nothing compared to the dodecathlon. in that, you do 12 different sports back to back. and nothing girlie like riding bicycles or knitting.

I could only imagine the torture they put on their legs. Just ask Lance Armstrong. And 3rd, Marathon.
Cycling must also be emotionally painful as well. Just look at these cyclers go at it. This clip is regarded as The Sorriest Fight Ever Recorded!

OMG!! That was hilarious! I would have to try, very damn hard, to fight that ****ty. How the hell were there two guys who fought like that happening to meet? Must've been the closest fight they'd ever been in. Every other time, you know they got their asses beat. Seriously, some 15 year old girls fight better than that ****.

Look at a veteran boxer's face like Hopkins and try to tell me that that kind of damage can be inflicted in any other sport. I agree that other sports are physically challenging but challenging and damanging are two separate things.

As for football, well look at how many football players die in their 40s and 50s (most recently Reggie White) and you'll have a good idea as to what punishment those guys take.

The death of Reggie White was not football related.

Oh man, I hate to say this but Hopkins hasn't taken much punishment in his boxing career. That's just what he always looked like!

I was watching bull riding on tv the other night. Thats a really tough sport, these guys are riding a 2,000 pound bull for 8 seconds. Some of these guys getting thrown, stomped on, drilled with horns, i'd say they take the most punishment. The most physically demanding sport is boxing though, look at some footage of young Tyson training.
