Khan has been down genuinely 4 times, against 3 fighters (I don't count the Drilzane one, because his feet got tangled between the ropes). Hasn't Gamboa been down even more than that, or at least the same amount? He's at a far lower weight, too. I don't hear anywhere near as much ragging about his seemingly "glass" chin, even though he's still undefeated (although I reckon it's only a matter of time before someone sparks him out).

If Khan gets sparked out again, obviously everyone will be entitled to laff all they went. But if he stands there and dusts off a good shot from a big puncher, I don't want to hear that **** ever again. I'm very much open to the possibility that he's a changed fighter at 140, and won't be Limond'ed or Gomez'ed (i.e. knocked down by light-hitters) anymore. Everything that's been discussed here about his change in conditioning and training is very interesting to read, and all hopefully true.

After all, we haven't seen Pacquiao being Torrecampo'ed or Sangsurat'ed since his young boy days - back then it was wrong conditioning, couldn't make weight, didn't have Roach, defenceless style... Think about it.

      So do I.

But let's not pretend he's paid the dues that Bradley has.

Khan hopefully will in time, so before you go on and write another essay saying what HE WILL DO, just wait and see what happens. Stop pretending your his manager and you know exactly his next move is because nobody knows yet...........

          If Bradley's a duck,

          WTF is Khan?

          A duckling?

So Khan chooses to face a big puncher, and we all complained he ducked Maidana, now it's wrong to want that fght?

What dues has Bradley paid? Has he accomplished much more? No,he hasnt. Bradley,Alexander and Khan are all extremely good fighters, but the simple fact is that Khan brings more money and attention to the table. In the ideal world they would get on with fighting each other and all get paid evenly, but thats not the way it goes. This is the mechanics of how deals get done in this sport,it sucks, but thats just how it is.

And judging from your posts in this thread, it looks to me that you "don't like Khan" at all. After the Khan-Maidana fight does happen, what will you do next? Make up some new nonsense conspiracy theory to justify your dislike of Khan?
              I haven't made anything up,

              1) Richard Schaefer wants Khan-Marquez

              2) There is a rumor buzzing 'round the industry that Maidana is contractually ineligible to go near Khan in the next 12 months

One of those is a fact - and if the other is a conspiracy, it's not of my making.

I don't care if you think I like Khan or not - if the Maidana fight is made for the Fall, I'll be delighted.

In that event, you can bump this thread and I'll rejoice with you Khan boosting fellas. If it isn't made, I'll be doing the bumping to see what you've got to say.

I didn't say anything of the sort, I want him to take that fight, it's perfectly right to do so.

The question is, will he? It's just talk so far. And we know that certain other influential people want other things.

                  Well he isn't a duckling.

Bradley can't KO Khan, what it's been 2007 since a KO?

Khan has a boxing chance with speed and range.

VS Maidana Khan could get KTFO anytime he gets hit.

                  Still a tough fight.

Style wise, Alex KO's Khan and can box him.

They all have july/august dates. Khan wants a tuner up.

Maidana injured. After that, in December, they can have a 4 man tourney, or 6 man with Ortiz/JMM

thanks, now let us compare and tell me what observations you can make from the barrera fight to the malignaggi fight:

Breidis prescott weigh in (during ramadan):

Post prescott oisan ***an weigh in:

Post prescott - barrera weigh in:

Post prescott - malignaggi weigh in:

I am amazed, wow. Ariza knows his ****.

Umm, actually - yes, he has.

If you want the breakdown, go back earlier in this thread for hints, or we can hash it out right here. Bradley's ledger since stepping up and the level of challenge and depth it represents >>>>>'s Khan's. What belts has Khan unified?

Whether or not Khan is more marketable isn't even the issue of this convo.
