It's proberbly best for him to stay active and work his way up again...

As I dont see him beating any of the current 140lb champions
I think it's obvious that paulie can't beat the top JW's....he's lost to cotto hatton and now khan.....so he has to ask himself if he's ok with fighting lower class guy because khan is only #3.....if he still wants to fight the top guys he's gonna lose but he will be alot of good fighters just not the top.....it's his choise

paulie malignaggi's mouth & hands were silenced last saturday .... paulie's next best move is to use his head & reflect that when he exited the ring last saturday night, he should just do that EXIT .... his hands did not have the same speed as his mouth & the sport he is or was in engaged is not MOUTHING, it is BOXING .... ba-bye .... don't come back no more .... ....

Paulie can still have a good career

He's about as good as you can get without having power...

It's time for Paulie to move on, he's maximized his talent as far as it can go. He's a good b-level fighter but when he steps up in competition you witness his true pedigree, which is nothing to be ashamed of, despite his limitations he's achieved a lot.

I think the point is where does he go from here? He can't beat any of the top guys at 140, does he become a gatekeeper and stay in it for the check? The second option seems viable for only about 1 or 2 more fights.

I hope so I like Paulie and don't want to see him take no more punishment. He should be proud to have made it so far with limited power. But he is a true Champion and has no quit in him my hat's off to you Paulie.

He should go to HBO and become the new commentator he has always been respectful and deserves something like that and he is funny.
