I don't want to see Paulie quit but he never will be at that top level so I understand why he would want to

But maybe one more fight with Victor Ortiz I think Paulie can win that fight and if he does he will be right back in the mix.............kinda

Im not sure i favour Vicious in that match-up, not saying that Paulie has no chance but i think Victor Ortiz looked the goods on saturday, unlike Paulie.
I like Malignaggi i think he is a great boxer and he can be proud of who he has shared the ring with aswell as the way he has carried himself throughout his career.

However i would simply rather see him call it quits as opposed to lose again.

paulie just cant compete at this level anymore as he gets up in age, he couldnt even pull the trigger saturday, it was almost like hes showing that hes aged, hes getting hit now more than ever and doesnt have the power to gain ANYONES respect.

it might be that time. he talked about this back in 2005 when he had hand problems, now it might be time to make it a reality, he cant compete with the best of the division and moving up might be a nightmare

I think Paulie should fight the Diaz - Marquez 2 winner. It would be a good last payday if he lost, but if he won, he could make one last attempt to win a world title.

Yeah your right I would favor Victor in that fight to but I just don't want Paulie to retire like that maybe he should fight Nate Campbell or just somebody but Paulie can't go out like that the way the fight was stopped and in his hometown I just felt so bad for him and I just don't want him to go out like that

                      You never quit.
                      You always entertained.
                      You were a World Champion.
You didn't have a knockout rating like Hagler or Valero, but you gave us some great fights. Hold your head up high champ. We will miss you.

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed, I was watching on UK ITV, so no Lederman, but I was literally imploring him to "circle around, Paulie, circle the hell around".

Again, glad I'm not the only one who noticed. A bunch of people have cited him coming off the win over Diaz as some kind of evidence that this was anything like a peak Malignaggi, some even claiming Diaz as his best win, totally ignoring that Diaz himself is battle-worn, smaller than Paul (somewhat blown-up even at lightweight, never mind practically Jr.Welter, where they fought). Paul did well just to have some success in the early rounds and hang in there with Khan, who simply couldn't put him away.

                      I'd thought this, too.
