Paulie could be fantastic at 135lbs, if he can still make that weight.

      Sad, ain't it?

Haven't made my own mind up what I want to see him do next. It would be nice if he could give us a couple more great nights to remember him by like the Diaz win.

Whatever his next move, I'll be supporting it.

Ive been a boxing fan most of my life and Ive been practising the sport for more than 10 years... I remember as a kid every tuesday me my father and brothers would sit and watch tuesday night fights on USA it was almost a tradition... There are things i hate and love about boxing and honestly the only thing that is worse than the politics in boxing have to be the fans... I give all the credit in the world to khan he dominated paulie, but ive seen ppl on here comenting that paulie should get a job at a pizzeria(you a cornball by the way) or that paulie just wasnt that good... maybe its the fact that i actually know the sacrifices these guys make, how the starve themselves. spend years trying to perfect a craft through pain, sickness, hardtimes that makes me imotional about disrespectfull P^ssies that make remarks like that... if you wanna brag that your guy won fine thats part of the sport but to sit there infront of the computer with your gut hanging over belt eating a cheeseburger, dont have the disapline to accomplish half the stuff the lowest level boxer has much less a former world champion like paulie, that makes you a piece of ****... Paulie Malignaggi is a former WORLD<----(key word) Champion... hey so for those B!tch ass fans that wanna critic the man for loosing WHAT THE F^CK HAVE YOU DONE LATELY.....

I was thinking Paulie would be done. Due to that right hand, it could break again during any fight and he knows it. This neck problem he has had for his past 4 fights, not using his legs like we know he could. So i really thought that was it for him after this fight, especially the way it went down.

But today, i remembered Khan keep saying, how he will end Paulies career, he wouldnt fight again, etc. This is the ONLY thing, that makes me think Paulie may continue, even for a couple more fights, maybe just til the end of this year...get another payday and call it a day. We shall see.

Ortiz would get soundly outboxed by Paulie.

Don't gauge Saturday's performances that way...Ortiz had an old man in front of him who was looking for a win to retire on. Paulie had a serious world level contender hypejob in front of him.

paulie is talented but with a guy who has virtually no power u only can go so far in boxing he should retire or just be a gatekeeper and fight against bums on undercards which i doubt he would do that

I doubt it. He said he barely makes 140

He can still beat some good 140lber's IMO

It's proberbly best for him to stay active and work his way up again...

As I dont see him beating any of the current 140lb champions
