I think he'd make for some good analysis plus HBO could save money on hair and makeup, as Paulie does his own--complete with a mystic tan.

a 12 round decision would not be as obvious as you think

floyd is the best pure boxer of this generation, and boxing also happens to be paulies game as well...the problem is he cant do it anywhere as close as good as mayweather can do it...mayweather will be countering him all night and landed flush on him round after round. he will probably hit him more cleanly, and more often than khan and hatton did COMBINED ....a KO (or atleast a stoppage) is not out of the realm of possibilty at all.

i think though that this would WOULD go the distance, but not because floyd couldnt finish him. i think it would go the distance because floyd strikes me as the type of guy that would take it easy and show respect on his opponents...he might talk **** about the ones he has a beef with (such as mosley and pac) but he never had a problem with malignaggi..in fact, they both have shown respect to each other in the past. i heard mayweather say in an interview one time that he thinks paulie is a good fighter.

my guess is that mayweather would be able to easily finish him, but he would take it easy on him at times and show respect for him and only hit him when necessary. mayweather can be a **** in other ways, but hes not the kind of **** that will beat a good technical boxer senseless for no reason. he admires technical boxers, and i think he would admire paulie and his heart.

mayweather has the ability to finish, but would opt for a UD out of sheer respect, just like he did with marquez

I think he would be entertaining. I would much rather listen to someone like Roach or ****m, compared to Paulie they would offer analysis without the over the top emotional outbursts that Paulie brings to the equation. I still think Paulie would offer a lot to any broadcast.

              Mission Accomplished

Amir Khan is just keeping his promise to all boxing aficionados the whole world over. Prior to his fight with Malinglagi (in Pilipino meaning always wrong) Amir Khan announced that he will send his loud foul mouthed opponent to his retirement. For Team Amir Khan it is "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED". Kudos Team Amir Khan.

Team amir khan should pick the right fights because if his chin
is suspect he landed alot of clean punches not to get a knock down maybe a little over rated but great future

I think Paulie almost hinted that himself during the interview. When you take that type of punishment, it's at the very least, time to think about it.

Yea but those guy's are off training their fighters so Paulie if he does hang umm up is a good guy to put up the.

The bolded is actually what the problem with that fight would be... too much respect from both fighters and you end up with Pac/Clottey.....touching em up after every time you hit each other (I'm jesting, but I'm sure you get the point) would not make for an entertaining fight IMO.

****m, definately.... Roach, not so much... based on the fact that he has a hard enough time speaking, coupled with the fact that he himself admitted that he gets too nervous giving interviews and being in front of the cameras- he would not make for a great commentator IMO.
I would rather hear Nate Campbell commentating than Paulies 100 mph fast talking, although I think Nate is a little too jaded to simply offer an analogy of the current fight going on, but you never know.
