I gotta give it up for Paulie. He fought hard and lost to Cotto and fought hard and lost to Khan. The man is all heart.

i hope if he does actually retire, that its the last we see of him

it would be a nightmare to hear his 1000 words a minute, kermit the frog-like voice as a color commentator

if you retire from fighting (hopefully), then please just fade into oblivion. nobody wants to see you as a commentator or analyst. go be a trainer or something

Dibella said "Pauly showed he's got balls the size of basketballs" This must be why his footwork was a little off, and why he wasn't circling like Ledderman stated. I thought something might be weighing him down but couldn't quite place a finger on it. Anyway, I wish him luck with whatever he does. Always enjoyed watching.

Paulie is a fighter that all boxing fans should admire....I mean the way he stood in there with Cotto and the way he spoke after Buddy waived the flag in the Hatton fight on how he HATED being stopped.....you can tell thats how Paulie is built, the dude might talk mad **** but he has the toughness to back that **** up....he might not have the POWER to match his words but he is a lil tough mofo tho'.....I got mad respect for Paulie....mad respect!!!

Paulie you were a GREAT boxer.
                    You never quit.
                    You always entertained.
                    You were a World Champion.
You didn't have a knockout rating like Hagler or Valero, but you gave us some great fights. Hold your head up high champ. We will miss you.

Paulie should get one more fight with floyd. That will be a career ending high pay. Paulie will lose without damage at all since the outcome will be very obvious 12rd decision for floyd
