Dude, you are suffocating on Manny's little ****. You live in the Philippines and you still don't get it. The Philippine government is gangster.

Don't come with that "Manny brings hope" bull****. Manny is a prize fighter with a 3rd grade education. He is a figurehead now and that's all he is. Without boxing where would Manny be right now, giving me rides on a trike to the palangke? He is popular because of his boxing career.


And don't forget, behind closed doors in the Filipino government there are people who are more powerful than Manny. They are just using him for his popularity. Similar to Alexis Arguello in Nicaragua.

Not once did I say that Manny would be a good politician. Ever. He hasn't served in that aspect and can't be judged until he is. One thing that's clear is that those people there need hope and if it comes in the form of Pacquiao who has clearly identified himself within that aspect, then so be it. I don't live in the Philippines either and at the end of the day Pacquiao doesn't pay my bills. If he looses to Floyd I'll live my life the same way I did before. You're right though. If Manny wanted to get into politics, fit or un-fit, he should have waited until his career was over rather than getting into things half ass and I do believe he could have done much more in boxing than in office to help his people.

10mil per pound over is not excessive???????? ok fine its ur opinion but is it a commission rule? all of what u are saying is great... but it doesnt take away from the fact that pac has fought with rules other than the commissions thats was the point of the post. no matter if its in the welter limits in his contract he damanded cotto to be at 145 which wasnt a comission rule right? as far as the test we all know the current testing process is iffy and there are ways around it! has that not been proven?! it has to start somewhere just like 12 round fights coming from 15! u can all argue floyd never asked for this test before pac but the fact is that its apart of this contract. if roach arum and pac dont plan on taking the test why do they keep on bringing up the fight every 3 days either take it or move on to margarito!!!!!

I agree that the blood negotiations are a clause within contract negotiations. That's already been proven. I agree that Pacquiao should take the tests which in retrospect, I believe he has. I do think that the NSAC has to improve it's testing methods and that given each individual's stature and resume they are both guilty of negotiating out of and within commission standards. And you're right, if Team Pac has no intent on taking tests move on to Margarito but since nothing's concrete yet my fingers are still crossed for May vs. Pac.
