There is no ****ing difference with taking the tests one day before the fight and immediately after the fight, when it comes to detecting PED's.

The difference could be a W or an L. What the tests detect after the fight wont mean anything to the loser.

With the "supposed steroid user" having a victory overturned to a no contest and his life and legacy beat to a pulp should those tests come back positive. My gut feeling is that Floyd knows Manny is not on drugs so aside from the mind games he's trying to play I still don't know why this fight has not been pend.

Of all of the ways he could "duck" a fight, he agrees to all of the odd-ball requests from MP and asks for one of his own--a blood test--and all of the sudden he's ducking Pacquiao? Very seldom do I see a MP fan question their idol as to the reasoning behind letting the biggest fight ever slip through his fingers. I can't buy "superstition" unless I was foolishly in love with Pacquiao and refused to use the sense God gave me. Only someone that's in love accepts without question an idea that simple logic could prove false.

As to PBF finding another reason to not fight Pacquiao, shouldn't we wait for that instead of assuming it will happen? Give the guy a chance before you condemn him, the same chance that allows you to see nothing wrong with what Pacquiao's doing and everything wrong with what Floyd's doing.

First off..

I had respect for Margarito (pre-loaded gloves), still have respect for Cotto, but losing respect for Pac (if he wont take the test and fight Floyd).

But there is nothing in any of these fighters that a very skilled technician would be scared of.

After all of Bob Arums media propaganda against Floyd, its understandable that some believe Floyd is scared (of top rank fighters).

But you have to read into the media spins, the positioning, and the politics that come with the business side of boxing.

Bob Arum is the best at propaganda... using the media to form opinions of the fans.

Back when Floyd was trying to make business moves to get away from Arum/Top Rank (to fight Oscar), Arum retaliated by blasting Floyd in the media as being scared. This was also his best way to promote Margarito at the time, who also was complaining to Bob that he wasn't being promoted enough.

So.... How do a bitter promoter turn a negative situation (losing your best fighter) into a positive?

Easy... You make an offer that you know your former (business minded) fighter wont take, then tell the world he is scared.... while using the rejection/situation to promote your unknown fighter by claiming he is the most feared man in boxing.

---- He did this with Margarito (8mil offer but no 20mil Oscar fight)-- knowing Floyd was going after Oscar (for the Biggest ppv fight in history) instead of fighting a lesser known (at that time) Margarito who last did 35k ppvs with Gomez. Although this was smart business by Floyd....

Bob just plays the game of propaganda... just like many other promoters.

You can continue to believe what you read in the propaganda,

But I choose to read between the lines.

Margarito was not big at the time, fresh from a fight with a guy named Gomez that did only 35k ppvs. (thats right-- 35k ppvs)

the Margartio situation was more of a situation between Floyd and Bob, rather than Floyd and Margarito.

Floyd was looking to make a fight with Oscar and Bob could not control the situation.

This is the same bob who told Floyd that he would never get 20 mil with Oscar (who arum hated at the time).

Floyd needed a fight to set up the Oscar fight, so......

Floyd tried to get Mosely (tooth situation), then Spinks (at 154), then settled on Baldomir because Floyd had guys like Brian kenny blasting him for not fighting Baldomir (who was the Man) who just beat Judah, then Gatti ( and also had the Cinderella man story going for him) .

Bob Arums -- (Floyd is scared) smear campaign to the media really worked on you dudes.

Anybody that has followed Arum over the years, already know how Arum gets down...

But pressure can make most men fold... and hes already talking about not arguing this time with Floyd & Schaefer.

Lets hope no games like:

--- "In order to continue negotiations, Floyd has to give us a public apology"

or something like:

--- "In order to continue negotiations, Floyd has to get a new promoter"

Lets hope for no more -- having gag orders on the negotiation, only to constantly leak out his side of the story.... only to be called on it as false (information) by an independent mediator.

If Bob can cut out these games and get the fight done with OST.

He will have mine, and many others full respect.
