I think most boxing fans are blind! Can't anyone see that Cintron's head was being held down by the doctor? Hello, people, this guy was a victim of a bull**** rule and I'm sure while laying there, he wasn't coherent enough to think "Under ABC rules, this would be a no-contest but under these rules, I could lose so I should quit or I should say I want to continue, etc." The guy is a boxer, he doesn't have a Phd for Christ's sake. The guy wanted to fight and the doctor wouldn't let him. Plus, anyone who think's he launched himself out of the ring to get out of the fight is a dumbass. Why, you ask? Because he could've broken his neck, back, spine, leg, arm, or even suffered brain damage on the concrete floor and possibly ended his career right then and there.

I haven't seen the fight. I will youtube it tonight, but there seems to be a pattern here. If Cintron actually come up with this fake ass injury then he is a disgrace to PR's. We are not cowards, we will get ****ed up but we will still fight until we are finished. Tito and Juanma have the most heart of all the PR boxers, cotto cintron ruiz and the rest of the PR clan have got to man up and make a decision as to wear their heart is. I'm a pure rican by the way but Cintron is starting to look like a disgrace for the business.

I'm Puerto Rican and have no incentive to hate Kermit Cintron. I was rooting for him saturday. I though he was doing well and had a good shot at knocking out Paul Williams saturday, the fight was even when it ended. I hate conspiracy theory type thinking and speak against it wherever I see it.

However there is difficult to me, after seeing the video multiple times to conclude that Cintron simply tripped his way out of the ring like that. It seems illogical, and insane, but it looks like he leapt out. I doubt he was actually consciously afraid of Paul Williams. Maybe even Cintron himself doesn't know why he leaped out of that ring, but unfortunately that is what it looked like.

has no one concluded that maybe cintron was a bit debilitated by that punch williams landed seconds earlier which resulted in him having decreased dynamic stability resulting in him going through the ropes?

dont watch the replay in slow motion, watch it live and you will see he had momentum taking him towards the ropes just wasnt able to slow it down.

no one dives through the ropes 5 feet up off the floor purposely and does not even attempt to use their hands(gloves) to protect them once going down.


having said that, if only the wind was knocked out of him why did he lay there and not move like he broke his back?

we have all had the wind knocked out of us, many a time, you are still able to move , in fact that is your initial instinct is to get up and move to catch your breath, no one ever got their wind back laying like they were dead

what is sad is he was winning 3 rounds to none, yes, unbiased, he was winning every round

if you score all four rounds i thought cintron eitherw on arhad draw but no way wiliams won. cintron had him hurt right before he went out the ring. i did think he was overreacting and saw an easy way out.

"dont watch the replay" ?? the replay tells u everything u need to know, if the judges had access to slow motion replays like in the NFL, they wouldve said kermit the frog quit, therefore its over. like when he fought sergio martinez and got knocked down, he was on 1 knee by the count of 10, that would mean its over right ? noo, he starts whining and bittchin to the ref about gettin hit wit a headbutt, that never happened, and the ref fell for cintron's whining and let the fight continue, if he had access to slow motion, the fight wouldve ended like it should have... i saw it live, slow motion, every kinda angle they have it and u know what i saw ? kermit the frog JUMPED out the ring, theres no case to be argued, its right there in the footage, he leaped...the next time i wanna hear about kermit is when he retires,he said he would if the decision wasnt reversed,it was not,so he should b a man of his word and GTFO of boxing
