The bottom line is Cintron does not deserve the benefit of the doubt period end of story, his history in the ring robbed him of that no one else.

If Cintron really wanted to fight he should have got his ***** ass off the floor, told the doctor to go *** himself and refused to be put on the stretcher it's that simple.

No question, the practice of traipsing from Florida to California and back within a 22-hour time frame is enough to wobble the senses of an already-loopy 41-year-old like myself.
But the more I review snippets of commentary coming off Saturday night’s curtailed main event at the Home Depot Center in suburban Los Angeles, the less I think it’s me who’s nuts.
Rather than the “tough luck” and “give him another shot” sentiment I naturally assumed would follow Kermit Cintron’s ill-fated tumble and dubious scorecard loss to multi-division phenom Paul Williams, the responses in some circles have leaned toward harsh at best.
And ridiculous at worst.
Before we begin, however… make no mistake. I’m aware of Kermit’s history.
I know some snicker when recalling his emotional in-ring collapse following a loss to Antonio Margarito in 2005. I understand some thought it scorn worthy when he writhed on the floor with hand pain after stopping Jesse Feliciano two years later. [Click Here To Read More]

I figure the commission and the Dr. were afraid to let the fight continue with Cintron having a possible back or neck injury, so they told him to not move and called the ambulance. I also agree that i really don't see why Cintron would have wanted out of a fight that he was doing very well in.

Look I'm as tired of Cintron's as the next guy but to say he came up with this brilliant plan to get out of a fight that he seemed to be winnig is just ******. And as far as a rematch while most don't aprove of it I think it could be good for Williams to get a real W over Cintron not a fake one.
In My Opinion Williams did not look that confortable after he felt a couple of Cintrons Punches, just saying.
