Cintron threw himself out of the ****ing ring man, what is it that people don't understand??? Does any1 remember the Cotto-Quintana fight??? Remember how there feet got tangled up in round 1 and Quintana went flying 2 the ropes??? He did with greater force then Cintron and he didn't go flying out of the ring like Kermit. And on top of leap frogging out of the ring, he didn't even hit the table that hard 2 cause such a serious injury. If he really wanted 2 fight, he would have got his ***** ass up and not laid on the floor the whole time like a piece of garbage.

Here we go again...Ill make several points that will hopefully cement this debate further against giving cintron the benefit of the doubt....First, all cintron had was a counter left hand; after Paul would jab with his right. That's all he had! He needed more to win against Paul. Cintron knew after the second round he wasn't going win just with his counter left hand. Second, if you listen to Emmanuel Steward, he repeatedly, repeatedly states that cintron is emotionally and mentally unstable. Even as they were fighting, he kept saying cintron whithers under pressure. And, paul was beginning to put a lot more pressure! Steward even knew what was coming for Kermit the leaping frog! Third, cintron may have been winning the first two rounds, but Paul was beginning to tag him and redden his left eye. Look at the tape! Also if you see when cintron is laying on the stretcher, his nose is internally bleeding. Paul on the other hand, looked completely unmarked. And finally, again, cintron used his left leg to push himself towards the ropes, and made NO NO NO effort to stop himself. Even if I try, I cant give froggy the benefit of the doubt.

When I saw the incident at first I thought it was a bizarre accident. Cintron seemed to be very calm and relaxed in the first 3 rounds and he was moving well. Williams was displaying bad timing on his shots and I had Cintron winning. He looked comfortable in the ring.

A couple of things I noticed - hopefully someone can clear them up for me!

Were the ropes in the ring too slack? - I know Cintron went straight through them - but they did seem to be very slack regardless.

I watched this on Sky in the UK and the commentators were calling it a farce that the ref clearly changed his mind regarding the rules that were being used. He can clearly be heard stating it was a no contest due to 4 rounds not being completed. Then he starts saying that its California rules and that is only 3 rounds so it goes to the scorecards. Even Micheal BUffer looked a little bemused by that. Is that right regarding the rules? And how can the Ref not even know which rules are being used? Shouldnt they be unified?

When I saw a reply from another angle, Cintron does stumble but it does look like he dived straight through the ropes. I cant deny that. Whether it was some instinctive move to try and avoid an awkward fall or some crazy commando/ninja training kicking in.

Was a bizarre ending - it wasnt a slugfest but it started out with both men trying to box each other and it was slowly getting better.

Slightly off topic - but what was with the crazy local DJ MC?

I despise Cintron, but to his credit he did land the bigger blows on Williams and had him buckle his knees, however Cintron is still a ***** and I don't buy that whole story about him telling the doctor he wanted to continue when he stood lying on the floor like a sack of **** and made absolutely no motion to continue fighting until they put him on that stretcher, it doesn't take a genious to know the guy was pulling an act, and it backfired on him.

Cintron was clearly outboxing Williams when Williams tried to put the pressure on him Williams got hit with what was by far the best punch of the fight. If it wasn't for his mental fragility he could have won the fight and really made a name for himself but he chose to listen to the doctor and stay on the floor. If Cintron really wanted to fight he should have got his ***** ass off the floor, told the doctor to go *** himself and refused to be put on the stretcher it's that simple.

I aint buying that **** either, he aint wanna fight. If he did, he would have gotten his ***** ass off of the floor. And all ya people saying Cintron should have got the win cuz he was winning the fight can kiss my ass. He deserved exactly what he got cuz in reality, that was exactly what was gonna happen. The fight was gonna end with Williams being victorious and Cintron laying on the floor needing medical attention. Lol
