I'm Puerto Rican and have no incentive to hate Kermit Cintron. I was rooting for him saturday. I though he was doing well and had a good shot at knocking out Paul Williams saturday, the fight was even when it ended. I hate conspiracy theory type thinking and speak against it wherever I see it.

However there is difficult to me, after seeing the video multiple times to conclude that Cintron simply tripped his way out of the ring like that. It seems illogical, and insane, but it looks like he leapt out. I doubt he was actually consciously afraid of Paul Williams. Maybe even Cintron himself doesn't know why he leaped out of that ring, but unfortunately that is what it looked like.

yea like the doctor is going to admit that he didnt let him continue even after now seeing that he should have allowed him 5 minutes to see if he could continue. I always read and respect Lyle's articles. And while I partially agree with what he says about it being wrong to dog Cintron (a professional fighter risking his health), I can't help but get over how obvious it was he dove out the freaking ring.

If it's true he just had the wind knocked out of him, why was the doc holding him like he had some kind of freaking spinal damage and why did he need a stretcher? Never in the history of sports have I seen someone leave on a stretcher for getting the wind knocked out of them. Not to mention it looked like a pretty clean landing.

Cintron is an agile guy, who is really athletic, and someone a little stumble turned into a superman dive through the ropes.

He quit. I saw the fall, it was nothing, maybe bumped his back a little bit on the table. Nothing to indicate injury and it was proven later on that he wasn't injured. He quit. He said f**k it, I'm getting an easy paycheck. Bet your ass if Williams would have fell through the ropes he woulda been up in 5 seconds. Paul was just starting to find him and was putting his back against the wall. We all know how Kermit does when he gets cornered. It was headed towards Kermit getting stopped. He doesn't deserve a rematch. He deserves his loss.
