You can't discredit Mayweather's possible win over Mosley.

It also tells you they think Shane isn't what he used to be...
Although, I personally completely disagree with Vegas on this. i'm picking Shane to win and am fully prepared to give the winner full credit for this fight.Comment

I disagree. It doesn't tell you that at all. Forget Shane's age for a second. If one welter came out of retirement and the other fighter just demolished the #1 welter in the world, who would likely be the favorite? The anomaly here is that Floyd Mayweather is that first fighter.Comment

Pakyo...if you're going to keep spamming the boards then I think it's time you progressed from "casual" fan to a real one. And that means to stop with the nonsense like this. Seriously. No one takes you seriously (obviously you don't care since you don't take yourself seriously) but the same repetitive jargon would better suit you in the pinoy lounge where they debate devoid of facts and reason.Comment

FYI, I think its a big deal if floyd loses. I'm a huge floyd fan. He is on the verge of not only two of the most lucrative fights in boxing history, He has a chance to beat two great fighters and go undefeated assuming he retires). He wins this fight and the next and he makes his case as one of the alltime greats. If he loses he takes a huge hit.
As I understand it, Shane was in the same situation floyd was after fighting ODH. Both made great money but signed "bad" deals in terms of money they recieved vs money generated. The got guaranteed money but left a significant percentage of the PPV money on the table. Once the PPV money came in and Shane didn't get much of a piece he felt cheated to a degree. When negotiating for the rematch, he asked for a $10 mil guarantee. Oscar refused to guarantee that high a figure and shane went on to other fights. This is when shane got his rep as a bad businesman. Do you know of somethignelse? if so I'm interested to know.Comment

I think you may be referring to the second fight, no? That wasn't the case for the first fight. Oscar turned down a rematch, retired after the first fight and pursued singing. Shane went on to lose to Forrest twice, and Vernon went on to lose to Mayorga twice. By then, Shane was thought to be nearing the end. All of a sudden Oscar wanted to fight him again.FYI, I think its a big deal if floyd loses. I'm a huge floyd fan.
