For the record-in the last few years Mosely has boxed around 45 rounds,Mayweather has boxed 12 rounds.Shane has no excuse....age will not play a difference in this one.

People are already using Mosley's layoff as an excuse. But Mayweather vs. Marquez was actually a sparring session, does that really count? Then we're constantly hearing about Mosley's age, I understand that he's 38. But even at 38, he's the most respectable opponent (Not named Pacquiao) Mayweather can face at 147. A more credible opponent then Berto, Clottey, Collazo; all the other younger WWs out there. So in short, cut the excuses.

Shane is more removed from his prime than Floyd.

Like I said, it'd be a great win, just not as good as if would have been had they fought each other earlier.

i dont know exactly what he means but shane 1.is alot older than floyd 2.has been in alot more fights where hes taken more shots than floyd (a credit to floyds great defense) and 3. and has appeared to lose a step when you look back at the Mayorga/Vargas I/and maybe even the Cotto or even the Estrada fights.

So I think its fair to say if both of these men are past their primes, then maybe Shane is just a little further gone than Floyd.

either way, i'm excited for saturday.
