You can't discredit Mayweather's possible win over Mosley.

If we were living in a vacuum then this may be the case, but there are other factors at work here. I think you underestimate the oddsmakers. You don't think that a 16 month layoff and a 39 year old fighter are being considered by Vegas? You don't think that the handwrap scandal and the possibility that Margs cheated before are being considered by the oddsmakers?

I think the oddsmakers do rank Floyd very highly, and people have won quite a bit of money on him over time- both are symptoms of Floyd being overrated in the general public's eyes.

I'm sure the oddsmakers are considering that...just like they're considering that Floyd has had one fight in three years and that was against a lightweight.

      Come on.

No the first fight. Oscar only recorded that album he won the latin grammy for. I didn't think he fully retired. This was about the time Dan Rafael started referring to the shane mosley school of boxing which then became the winky wright school of boxing after winky beat shane and then wanted ridiculous money for fights.

        I could be wrong.

I cant believe am slightly leaning towards a Mosley win!!! Over the last few weeks i have been taking over by how difficult Mosley is to beat especially a desperate/Motivated one... I never gave him a chance in hell before this.

Yeah, he recorded the album after the first Mosley fight. And the Winky fight came after Shane fought Oscar a second time.

And it was how long ago and was Floyd sharp?

You come on. I don't think the oddsmakers are considering that at all.

The oddsmakers want to make sure the house wins. By making floyd the 4-1 favorite a lot of fans will bet on Mosley necause he is a live underdog (who has a real chance to win) and they need to even out the money paid out.

Seems wirerd that floyd is a bigger favorite over mosley than he was ricky hatton.

I think they are. Looking sharp against a fat, old lightweight is one thing. Against a top-rated welter is another.

Oh, I'm sure they are. Just like they're considering Shane's age.
