Froch during the fight: "He ****ing kills me!"

I was always saying that people put to much into the Ward defeat. One bad night at the office does not make a fighter shot.I enjoyed watching Kessler today, I really did. He regained my respect and much more. I never really questioned him, but Froch is an akward and underrated fighter, by far, in my opinion. He has faced some serious opposition in his last fights! I think is was necessary to go to war today, because of Frochs style.
That being said Kessler HAD to produce some fireworks and he did! He worked hard for this fight. 3½ month camp and a whopping 187 sparring rounds. When I heard that number I knew Carl was in trouble.Comment

sounds like a great night out,i enjoyed the fight, what a battle it wasAs you could imagine the atmosphere was fantastic and hugely partisan. And then we where treated with this great fight. It was awesome.
I didn't score the fight myself, but I felt Kessler won for sure. I was watching the fight with one of our fellow posters on this board. He's a yank and had no biasedness towards any of the fighters. He scored the fight 7-5 for Kessler but he gave a round to Froch which he said he probably should have given to the dane. So that would mean a score of 115-113 or 116-112.Comment

I like your confidence in the Kessler, I do share the same thing. But I knew Froch was going to be a war. I saw it as a 50/50 before going into the fight.I was always saying that people put to much into the Ward defeat. One bad night at the office does not make a fighter shot.

How much impact do you think Montoya had on the fight? I liked Richard, but I think he should've been swapped out a long time ago. How do you see it?Comment
