It was great stuff by Kessler to go to the body so much. Froch also said on the BBC that those body shots took the wind out of his sails.

Froch didn't show it if it was affecting him. I think the lasting effects form this fight will show on Kessler, not Froch, despite him being older.

i had kessler winning froch just wasn't working enough he was getting out worked a lot.

but kessler was impressive with his body and aggressiveness but his accuracy was horrible he could hardly land on froch and was getting hit by some punches he shouldn't have some of that came because froch is so awkward.

Finally someone saw the same fight as me! 115-113 was my score. Fantastic fight, with the real winner. But Kessler's accuracy was HORRIBLE in those replays, he looked like Calzaghe at times.

i see one of your posts saying you was going to the fight batt,how was it live??what was the atmosphere like there??i scored it 116-112 kessler,how did you have it watching it live?

As you could imagine the atmosphere was fantastic and hugely partisan. And then we where treated with this great fight. It was awesome.

I didn't score the fight myself, but I felt Kessler won for sure. I was watching the fight with one of our fellow posters on this board. He's a yank and had no biasedness towards any of the fighters. He scored the fight 7-5 for Kessler but he gave a round to Froch which he said he probably should have given to the dane. So that would mean a score of 115-113 or 116-112.

Oh yeah. The odd thing was that he was able to land his jab with some consistency. And that was against a highly skilled jabber in Kessler. Froch may look crude and cumbersome but I wouldn't say he is badly skilled. He's rather quite slow.

naw i wouldn't say he's slow look how he throws his jab. he wings it, no legs behind it not in a straight line it's always a undecided punch, a part hook jab a part uppercut jab. he's trying to hit where he thinks his opponent is going to go as opposed to using your jab to set up the right hand or at least try to make him forget about it till you land it.

you get what i'm saying? he's not slow he's just not throwing it straight.
