115-113 for Kessler but I could have agreed with a 115-113 for Froch or a 114-114 draw but anything else is kinda insane!!!!

Yes I'm from Nottingham but I did bet on Kessler UD, you can check forum history for this and I thought Kessler edged it by 1 round, which makes perfect sense when Carl said he would of won in Nottingham the point going the otherway.
Which also means that had Dirrell-Froch been in Detroit Dirrell would have won.

i agree kessler really needs to work on that.

i figured he'd win because of his accuracy which is better than froch's but like tarver was saying he used to throw that right straight now he's throwing wide hooks, but that counter punch he landed on froch's nose was a thing of beauty.

i just thought he was going to be doing that all night.

you get what i'm saying? he's not slow he's just not throwing it straight.
From where I stood he looked much the slower man. Kessler was always able to get off first. Still I need to watch a taped version of the fight.

I was more enjoying Kessler's re-invention of the left hook. He was able to land that shot on quite a few occasions.

Maybe Kessler took to much punishment in the fight, but he won. Meaning he found a way to win and that was to:

            1: Go to the body.
2: Force Froch to punch off the back foot
            3: Go to war.

he definitely brought the fight to froch which is why i had him winning and that left did catch froch a couple of times, but i was disappointed with his accuracy and his countering that's all.

I noticed the effectiveness of the body shots, too. I think it was round 6 where I saw it make the biggest impact. Froch was taking over the fight in round four and five but in round six I saw Kessler plant a great body shot and Froch's demeanor changed. That was the turning point in the fight for me. After that, when Kessler landed a body shot, Froch would back off and stop throwing for a good 20 seconds.

whhhhhhhhat you where there in person WOW bro!

WOW mad props! yeah do check out the tapped version from what they where showing he would never throw a "STRAIGHT" punch while jabbing. makes all the difference in the world especially in the latter rounds.

WOW what was the energy like?

I haven't seen the punch-stats yet, but maybe Froch should get some credit, or perhaps Kessler was just upping his work-rate compared to earlier fights and then seemed to miss more? I mean maybe he just threw more punches and that made him look less accurate?

I enjoyed watching Kessler today, I really did. He regained my respect and much more. I never really questioned him, but Froch is an akward and underrated fighter, by far, in my opinion. He has faced some serious opposition in his last fights! I think is was necessary to go to war today, because of Frochs style.
