Pavlik can still make weight,but eventually he will have to move up to at least SMW-which is a problem when you have guys like Andre Ward,Lucien Bute and Andre Dirrell who move very well.The SMW division is deep with talent and Kelly would struggle.

Lol, Its not like guys like Ward and Dirrel are any slower. I like Pavliks chances against Sergio better, if making weight is not a problem. Heard Pavlik before training camp had bulked up a bit with weights. He might want to cut that out so making weight is not so hard. I don't think it gets better for Pavlik at Super middle against guys as fast, bigger and harder hitting. Williams trainer is not doing Pavlik any favors suggesting that . He don't give a fck about Pavlik lol.

Peterson knows Pavlik has a rematch clause and that Martinez is Williams' most lucrative and preferred option.

He would love Pavlik to move up, so Paul can go directly to Martinez after Cintron, instead of having to look for an opponent afterward.

I would rather see Martinez-Williams II, instead of a Pavlik rematch though. Move your ass up Kelly.

I would too. It's the more competitive fight. If Pavlik rematches Martinez he will take an even bigger beating than than the first.

man them cuts hurt!!! A younger Pavlik before the money would have found a way to win but once you get them millions and start facing limited opposition you become complacent, same thing happened to Jermain Taylor. Pavlik will lose again then be foreced to move up where his career will eventually come to a close. Pavlik should exercise his rematch against Martinez but not right away, with them cuts he's gonna be out for at least 6 months. Seems like a long time but he's gonna need the extra time to get the weight off again.

Bute isn't quite as slick and small as Martinez so he can be hit by Pavlik and it would be a huge cash cow in Canada. BHOP needs to face Chad Dawson I bet they can give Hopkins more than he made with Roy Jones lol
