I know people think I'm some how ****tin on Floyd's win, but I have made several post (in the past) in which I stated that Floyd's win over Chico was one of the most dominated performances I have ever seen in boxing.

Those guys were actually running through top opposition and crushing opponents. Anyone can look dominate against bums and c-class fighters, which is why I didn't understand the hype




I agree that he did. Casa and Castillo were great wins, but I was referring to the pre-fight hype.

I never said it wasn't...and if I did show me the post. Actually I have stated the opposite in this thread. Only thing I question is what I was questioning back then....why was he hyped the way he was?

I guess it's due to me actually following Manfredy and not believing HBO when they were gassing up Corrales victory over him. Corrales was a top SFW but not the "monster" HBO was making him out to be.

If he was so dangerous, what fight proved that? I wasn't impress with Manfredy, Gainer or Garica at that time (esp. the latter).

I think he said Corrales was a great win for Floyd. I am not sure if that is what he was getting at...

I don't know, I can't speak for him.

All I know that is a great win for Floyd. Dominant victory he was just amazing that night. Everything was on point. That is the best performance I have seen of him against an elite fighter. Because, Corrales at the time was an elite SFW.
