Hatton's punch resistance was completely shot but he still looked sharp and not sluggish.

Cotto is a bit damaged (mentally as much as physically) but he was still a perfectly good opponent.

Margarito's punch resistance appears to be gone and he no longer has his artificial power (loaded wraps).

Just wanted to know everyone's take on this issue......

According to a good number of "fans" on NSB....Hatton was never the same after getting KOd by the ringpost.....I mean Floyd.

Cotto was never the same after getting BTFD (beat the f**k down) by bricks...I mean Margarito.

So now does Margarito fall under that category of "shot" since the manner in which Mosley destroyed him was....BEAUTIFUL?

IMO...Margarito is done.

its just excuses people use to downgrades pacs win. they were not shot at all, looked how they performed, they were just outclassed

hatton was at his premium weight and was fine

cotto look at his fight night weigh, he was fine as well, he wasnt shot.

It's better to prove them shot in the ring by Beating the hell out of them. Just like what Pac has done with DLH. Floyd won't even fight Cotto, he ducked him for years.

JUdah was shot already after being schooled By a Journeyman Baldomir. And yet Floyd cant KO Judah. DLH's shot and yet Floyd got only an SD.

styles make fights. i find it funny when people say hatton was shot because if you look at his fight before pac with paulie, it was actually one of his best performances. hatton lost to pac because he just isnt good enough. simple as that.

same with cotto, he just wasnt good enough either. pac was far too quick for them both. cotto also had a bit of a ****ty trainer. add to that that both guys are not very hard to hit either, especially hatton.

I wouldn't call Hatton's win over Paulie one of his best performances. Best wins in terms of name value, sure, but his performance stank. It was a ****ty fight and very hard to watch for all the clinching and the lack of actual boxing taking place. And Hatton even seemed to feel Paulie's power at points.

And what about the Lazcano fight? Hatton being shaken by an old, blown up lightweight contender?

Come to think of it; Hatton's chin had been on the downward slope since the Collazo fight. Mayweather appeared to put the final nail in the coffin though.
