Margarito I dont think is shot, he was damaged mentally/distracted during the Mosley fight due to the situation with the wraps also Mosley fought a great gameplan hold and smother Marg then load up full force on punches.

Cotto while I thought was shot at first but now although he is damaged the loss of his father and hiring Steward may revitalize him, well see.

    All are still good fighters.
I agree 100%. Hatton was not shot when he faced Pacquiao. Margarito is not shot, but I will wager anything that he is definitely on the decline. The Cotto and Mosely fight took something away from him, and the long layoff will not help his cause. He is however now exposed completely and a fight with Pacquiao will all but finish him off IMO. Cotto is far from shot also. He is fought well against Clottey even with the eye issue and was simply exposed technically by Pac/Roach. His lone 2 losses came at the hands of a supposed cheat(who was ranked P4P at the time) and a P4P great and Fighter of the Decade. Nothing to be too bummed about.

And, I don't think Cotto was/is shot either...
      1) Hatton lost his undefeated mindset , big career hit for a brawler .

      2) Hatton lost his punch resistance also effected by above .

      3) Hatton lost his old trainer and tried to reinvent himself , he did this looking for somebody to blame for his KO loss to Floyd , the first time he got clipped he was wobbled struggling with a lightweight journeyman they dragged out of retirement .

      4) His weight problems went ballistic after Floyd , if you look at Hattons body in the Floyd fight and look at Hattons body in the Pac fight there is a world of difference , with Floyd he was pumped with Pac he looked rung out , yet he weighed the same fight night 152-3

When Hatton fought Floyd he was a beast that was carrying his country on his back he was so confident he felt invincible and more Hatton was hyped by the media the more steel minded he got ,,,, but then he got demoralized by Floyd , mentally ****d beaten at his own rough house game and then beat up and finally the coup de gra KOed ,,, it was a huge loss for Hatton and it took a part of his soul , the part that wins fights for brawlers .

Hatton was not near the same animal after Floyd enough of this bull**** that Hatton was still tip top .

        1. Undefeated mindset? In his fights after the Mayweather fight he still very much had a hungry mindset. He stopped Paulie in the match and limited his movements, not easily done. He was also hungry in the Pac and tried too hard to go for the KO. Did not have a deflated mentality.

        2. Punch resistance issue came from an accumulation of things. 46 prior fights and a lack of defense probably doesn't do much to help your resistance. Plus, I don't care who Pacquiao fought. Any boxer who gets hit with those punches is going to sleep. That was a lack of defense that caused that KO, not 'punch resistance'.

        3. Boxers often try to reinvent themselves. Especially after a loss. Cotto for instance is reinventing himself with Manny going back to the basics. Currently Khan has undergone a complete transition both technically and physically. Just happens his is going well.

        4. Hatton has always had weight issues. That was brought on by himself, and the Mayweather fight has nothing to do with how he treats his body.

It depends because he is fighting an average guy next, not an elite fighter. Same thing that Cotto did after he got beat by Margs. He may look good in this fight but the next time he faces an elite caliber guy he may get stomped.

Margarito is in the decline now after losing to Mosley. Marg will just make his 1st fight since the loss, how the hell can you tell. Khan go KTFO but look where he is now. Same thing with Wladimir.

Well Margarito mentioned Pac's possible opponent, of course the *****s will said he was shot. The same goes to Hatton and Cotto. Did you see the pattern? They telling this so Floyd will look good but the truth is Oscar was shot into pieces to begin with when Floyd fought him and only managed to win in close decision while Pac destroyed, made him quit and forced him to retire. While its true Oscar never been in welterweight for quite sometimes the same story goes to lightweight Pac never been there. Floyd win against Hatton was ok but tarnished by the fact that he asked him to move up (Hatton disadvantage) at welterweight and did not fought Hatton in the weight where he was undefeated. Pac fought Hatton where it should be and just blown him away in 2 and also forced him to retire. Another fact, we only dream right now about the thought of Floyd fighting Margo and Cotto in their prime because he rather retired that time. Anyway, for our consolation he was going to fight grandpa/blood drained Mosley this coming May. Cheers!

Hatton was a beast when Floyd fought him? But, right after he was shot? Or not a top fighter anymore?

Come on, the nuthuggin and biasness in this place is unbelievable...
