exactly...pac-hatton & pac-cotto are nothing but fights between shot fighters. i dunno what these people are bitching about.

Hatton is a weird case. He literally ate Kosta's shots. Collazo hurt him because hes slick and can place shots where Hatton cant see them coming. Especially if you get wild against him like Berto found out.

I think Hatton showed a good chin throughout his career until late. I think thats mental too and that has to do with his depression, drinking and weight problems. Floyd turned his lights out physically and mentally. I was talking to Earl Hickey about this and he was telling me how Hatton was crying for weeks and slipped damn near into depression and was drinking like a mad man and getting fat as hell so I dont know I think that Floyd fight hurt him mentally. If you remember the build up for that fight Hatton KNEW he would beat Floyd then to get embarrassed killed him.

You take a shot Castillo out of that resume. And, Hatton looked crappy in all of his fights after Collazo.
I agree. But I don't think being shot is like a switch turning on; it's generally more of a gradual thing. I believe Hatton's punch resistance slowly faded away after the Collazo fight only to take another real kicking in the Floyd fight. And I suppose more recently again in the Pacquiao fight. There really is no coming back from what Manny did to him if I'm right.

To be fair Hatton drinks and eats like a mad man depressed or not lol. I did read the reports of him crying weeks after the Floyd loss, etc. but Hatton is a guy who I think is strong enough to bounce back mentally after such devastation.

Almost completely opposite to Miguel Cotto, who to me's damage mostly appears to be contained to his mind, I reckon Hatton's wear and tear is all physical.

He could be tough enough but that fight was unreal how big it was. Maybe losing on that kind of stage was a hard pill to swallow.

I had Cotto to beat Pac but when the second round came and Pac nailed him. You could see it in Cotto eyes that he was flashing back to the fight to when he was last hurt. He wasnt the same Cotto we come to know who get hit , hurt, dropped, rocked, stunnd and bounce back strong. He wasnt the same guy.

Look I followed hatton through his whole career, he was not shot at all. I know he had a top class trainer and looked for a excuse for the loss. He was at the best he could be in that fight, mayweather prepared hatton for pacmans main habits, even oscar said mayweather prepres a boxer very very well.

oh the cotto shot excuse, its just pathetic. seriously, look at his performance, he was at his best. no excuses, pac just out classed him.

A shot fighter is someone imo who has decreased in class, chin speed and so on. you can see very easily who is shot and who is not. Margo is a different case, until you see how her performs you can only guess
