Pull, bottom line is that, Cotto should have manned up and
went after the crown. Emmanuel Steward has Cotto considering
a rematch with Pac but not Mosley or even entertaining him
    fighting Floyd.

I have not yet heard Steward comment on a fight w/ the winner of mosley/floyd so I wouldn't jump the gun like you have.

Just cause he doesn't mention it doesn't' rule it out.

Pull, the biggest fight in the sport of boxing is on May 1st
and Emmanuel Steward is talking about Cotto fighting Pacquiao
again and not the winner of Mosley/Floyd?

passed Margarito then it would have been bright lights, big
city for Cotto. Oscar knew it and that's why he was considering
a fight with Cotto if he successfully beat Margarito but after
Cotto lost, he opted for the next best thing which was Pacquiao
and the rest is history. I remember once Floyd started walking
Zab down, it was a thing of beauty to see Floyd change up
during the match from being a counter puncher to the aggressor
and there was nothing Zab could do but cheat Floyd to get out
          of it.
Can't really disagree with anything here.Cotto did not reach his hights yet but a fight with May would have sold off the charts at that time.Hell the Margas fight did well and Margas was not even that big of a name.Judah had to cheat or have the ref tell him he cares to much for him to let the abuse go on.I never liked Zab just a pure waste of talent. For some strange reason Berto also gives me this same vibe..

I would have loved to see a battle of the Undefeated
WW's Cotto and Floyd for the Lineal title. Andre Berto
has more heart than Zab and determination but I do
see where your coming from. I was sold on the Berto
hype before he made his debut against Forbes. Berto
has to fight someone of significance. I thought Quintana
would be too much for Berto but he proved me wrong
so can't rule him out completely but when Zab had his
time at 140, he was way more impressive than Berto
            is now at 147.

like I said, just cause he didn't talk about it specifically doesn't rule it out of the question.

punched the more aggressive Cotto and stopped him around
the tenth. Cotto would have gotten frustrated because he
wouldn't be able to land. I think the only thing that probably
would have given Floyd a problem was Cotto's jab but it would
not have been consistent enough and Floyd technically would
have beat Cotto. When I think of Floyd and Cotto, I think of
it ending up like the Phillip Ndou match. Ndou was a big
puncher but Floyd beat the crap out of him by actually
taking the fight to Ndou which everyone was surprised
Floyd did. All in all, never saw Cotto beating Floyd. I too
wished that the fight happened before Margarito.
I to believe Cotto would have try to stalk May.He has a good jab but another thing that would have gave May some problems IMO is he did not was punches. He is a pretty acurate puncher.I beileve Floyd would have had to attack Cotto and take him out of his confort zone.IMHO there are some boxers you just can't out box umm and that's it.Cotto is one of umm I believe you have to fight Cotto and make he work.I believe May would have done this.I see it like May UD or May the Ref stopping the fight

                • Only way Flyod fight against Shane is very careful non stop pot shot for full 12 rounds, but if Flyod decided to engage and try to knock out Shane, theres a good chance Shane would knock out Flyod.
Dont let this hype fool you guys, its gonna be another usual, boring fight.

I said this a couple days back, the only one that can challenge that distinction is Oscar. As far as talent, Mosley is the most talented fighter Floyd has ever faced.
That can be said for a lot of fighters Mosley is real , remember this is the fighter Pac ducked even at a ridicules 142-144 ,,, Floyd is fighting the best weighted Mosley .
