    LOL.

sorry jab, my exquisite hate got the best of me. shadows, you hate the red sox too?

cant stand those whiney b*tches. cant take their losing like a true fan.
It was pretty obvious, brah. The avatar gave it away.

Hate them. As you can tell, I live in Mass, and their fans are just awful. Biggest bunch of whiners and band wagoners you'll ever meet.

we cool jab, but bolt is a revolutionary & evolutionary spritner & olympic athlete. His physical dimensions (his height) is new to the game. It doesnt matter what shoes owens wore or what steroid he took. He is not beating bolt.

might i add, bolt is only the beginning. His success will turn track & field into searching for taller athletes in the future. The nba probably has at minimum 10-20 guys that can be turned into the next usain bolt.

I see you saying this but you're offering no proof, only your opinion. When has being ripped ever been an indication of stamina or strength? Why are heavyweights today routinely huffing and puffing after 7 or 8 rounds, while past heavies went 15 and threw many more punches?

I agree that Bolt probably would beat Owens even if Jesse had the same advantages of today. But Bolt is the exception, not the norm. As a whole there isn't some huge gap in athletic ability in my opinion.

In the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's they went 15 rounds in smoke filled arena's with no air conditioning, yet boxers of today are in better shape.

agreed. having a great ripped physique does not equal great athleticism & stamina. just look at the klitskcho brothers, jermaine taylor, jeff lacy, more recently andre berto, all have great bodies (a dash of ****) yet are flat footed, unathletic, & had the stamina of a sissy with iron deficiency....

that being said, a great athlete with a great physique, i would reckon would have a clear advantage over a old time great with a lesser looking physique.
