Oscar De LeHoya: What has he ever done to warrant ATG status?

Whats his resume?
Losing to every great fighter he fought. Zab Judah also did that.

Oscar to me represents the sort of backstabbing (can't think of a better word) that fans do.
Fans cry and complain that they would rate a fighter higher if they take on risks etc and that losses don't matter, but when it comes to Oscar he fought everyone pretty much but his losses seem to mean that people don't rate him high enough.
It's weird especially because I have seen a lot of people say Prime Oscar beats guys like Mayweather and Pacquiao in their prime.
I rate Oscar quite highly, he has one of the best resumes around despite being credited with losses against guys like Mosley and Tito, who I felt he beat (once in Mosley's case). Not many guys could go through his resume unbeaten.Comment

IMO, and I say IMO is an all time great.
He did beat Trinidad (to me was 115-113), Mosley II on roids (116-112), Vargas on roids, retired and humiliated Chavez, beat Quartey (114-112 or something like that) knocked out or stopped Hernandez, Gonzalez, Paez.
the Whitaker fight could have gone either way, he lost to Sturm, he badly lost do Manny and BHOP.
I think is an ATG but I can understand comeone sayin' "nah, he lost all of his big fights" because you can judge his fights (5-6 fights of Oscar are higly controversial, remember) in various ways.
This is my opionon about Oscar. I don't want to convince anyone about his status, I only disagree when someone doesn't give him credit about his courage. He fought, always, the best in the division. Always.Comment

Dominated lightweight. Welterweight champion with wins over Pernell Whitaker, Ike Quartey, and Oba Carr as his highlight wins, along with a very controversial loss to Felix Trinidad. Junior middleweight champion with wins over Fernando Vargas and Ricardo Mayorga, and a very controversial loss to Shane Mosley. Along with all the belts he has won 6 different divisions.
Sounds like an ATG to me, even with the losses.Comment

Bert Sugar and Teddy Atlas don't think so. And I'll take their opinions over Mr. Fantastic's any day.
